    I have been looking around to buy a straight line glass cutter and a diamond dril bit hole saw to cut holes in glass locally, but haven't really had much luck. Does anyone know any local stores around Fresno/Clovis, CA that would stock and sell these things? I have found once place that got close, which was Home Depot, but they only sell diamond drill bit hole saws and they only sell two sized, which are 5/16" and 1 3/8", which 5/16" is too small and 1 3/8" is way too big. Although I found something similar, I have not found anything close to a straight cut glass cutter. These are the handheld one, kinda like an exacto knife, but have a diamond tip to cut lines and seperate glass. Are there other names for the glass cutter? Anyone know where to get them around my area? To clear up any curiousity that may arise, this is for a project for my snakes tank, which I am expanding and making a custom glass enclosure for them.   • Voting Question: I was at the Pita Market (restaurant) in the local mall and the guy charged my debit card 5 times.?
    I purchased a gyro, iced tea, and fries for $11.81. The numb-nuts could barely speak English and didn't know what "Visa Accepted" meant on his standalone credit/debit device. He started frantically sliding my card repeatedly. He did this in a concealed manner under the desk and was looking at my card a lot in a suspicious way. I suspect that he may have copied down all my information which I am very concerned about. So anyways, the f**kingidiot and I got into a long argument and he couldn't give me a receipt. Then, out of nowhere, some guy that works at Radioshack came out of nowhere and started speaking in Spanish with the Pita Market guy. Radioshack guy started messing with the machine and my card. He then told me I could go. I refused and said I needed a receipt. He went back to trying to do whatever it was that he thought he should be typing into the machine. I got my high school checking account card back, and after a while he said to just come back later and find him and he'll give me all the money that was overcharged back. I argued that the Pita Market guy would probably say he doesn't know me. The Radio Shack guy assured me they would and if they didn't to find him. So when I got home, I looked on my account balance online and it showed that the c0cksuck3r charged me five times! That's $59.05 on one single meal, a meal that should have cost $11.81. What should I do? I plan to go to Chase tomorrow and explaining the problem, but after all the trouble I went through, I want my meal to be complimentary.     Around Friday last week I signed up for an online test for my permit. They billed my credit card and everything, but they never emailed me my code that I needed so I could actually TAKE the test. I tried calling half an hour later and it turned out they only accepted calls from 8AM to 5PM, and Monday-Friday so I had to wait. On Monday I was too busy studying for an exam the following day, so now today, Tuesday, I called again. After being redirected like three times I finally get someone on the line. They tell me they are going to email me the code. And hour later still no code in my email. And by then it is also to late to call. So now I have to wait again for tomorrow. What should I do if they don't give me the code? Is that 26$ gone? Is there anything I can do besides just calling them over and over again?

    Yesterday I was served papers from Asset Acceptance, LLC via a law firm in the state of Iowa. Immediately after the papers were served I ordered all 3 of my credit reports online. After gathering my reports, I was shocked to see another name on the Transunion report. There is a person with the same first name, but different last name listed. According to my credit reports I do not currently have accounts with Asset Acceptance, but they did show up 2 times as credit inquiries. When I called the law firm today they told me it was because of a credit card that was opened in my former state in 2/2000 and went delinquent 11/2001. I do not remember having this credit card and they would give me no more information. They also said it was showing up on their copy of my report. I have a decent credit score, between 699 and 726, but will admit that I have made mistakes. A few years ago I had a Gateway account go to collections because I was young and stupid. It was with another collection agency and I took care of my debts in 6/2004. It is still on the credit report as a collection account, but that it has been paid satisfactorily. Other than that, I have a car loan and student loans which are current. The other name on my report is showing 6 revolving credit cards, which are all in good standing. I have 20 days to either accept or deny the charges with my local small claims court. Obviously, I want to deny this given all the information listed above, but one thing is holding me back. I was in college at the time of card issuance and delinquency and would not put it past my ex to have gotten the card in my name. The same ex is also the reason for the Gateway collections. Like I said, I was young and stupid! In summation: * I do not remember having this credit card. * I have received no phone calls from debt collectors since Gateway. * This is not on my credit report. * The clerk at the law office said the copy they have of my report shows this as a collection account. I'm sorry to be so long winded, I just wanted to cover my bases. I've ready all over the internet that this company is pretty much run by bullies! Now I am worried that they will be able to get this to reflect on my report and sue me for the amount plus court costs. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, I would love to hear them.     I have a debit card which is not widely accepted so I have been using my credit card for purchases and the same day, using my online banking, paying back the amount I have spent on the card. In theory I shouldn't owe anything unless the payment is received late. Can the credit card charge me for doing this as I won't necessarily be incurring any costs.

Such marks will not affect the performance of the footwear If not manufacturing defect, we do not accept return.)" i payed 170 for them and i thing "wrong size" means that you ordered a certain size and it wasnt the size you ordered not that it dosent fit you they are from china! are you SURE there is NO WAY to return these? or get a refund? and if its my last bet im seriously considering lawsuit or something i really want my money back oh and by the way they are from UggKings.com total frauds

  • Voting Question: why are french sites charging so much more for an xfx 9800gt?
    i'm american and living in france for years now. I want to buy an xfx 9800gt video card. i've seen it for 100 dollars (130 with a 30 dollar rebate) on american sites (which dont seem to accept credit cards from other countries such as france). On the other hand, all the french sites are asking a minimum of 130 euros. So whats the reason for this (aside from blatent theft) and how do I get around it? While i know french taxes are crazy high, this is just ridiculous. 130euros is about 162 bucks, compared to about 100 bucks. they've practically raised the price by 75 percent of the original price. 3 quarters, why not make it 4 and double the price? I'll be damned if I pay so much. I've already considered sending the money to my family in america and having them send it to me. but if I could find a way to just buy direct online for a good price i'd be happier. plus if someone could explain this insane pricing that would be interesting. blaming it on french taxes is partially true, but not the answer i'm looking for. I've used a site called iloprix that had reasonable prices, and guess what? they dont have the 9800gt, just the gtx's for about 150 euros, too bad my limit is 130 euros (shipping included). any help on finding a better site with a good price, or at least more insight onto whats going on with this "collective"/"group" rip-off (and how to get around it)would be great.

    I bought a M&C jacket online and two months later, found a small defect in it. I had never noticed it before as it was well concealed and I only wore the jacket a couple of times. Since I had spent over $900 on it, I decided to call the store about it. The SA I spoke to agreed to take it back for a full refund. When they emailed me the return instructions, they also told me to email/fax them when I mailed the jacket so they could refund me for the return shipping cost as it was due to no fault of my own that I was returning it. I emailed them back saying that I was grateful that they were even taking a return and that they didn't need to worry about the shipping charges. I mailed the jacket yesterday and got another email from customer service today asking me to email/fax them (my Canada Post receipt?) so that they can refund my credit card for the shipping charges. I don't know if I should go ahead and email them. It cost me $39 to ship the jacket back, but considering the fact that they even took the return after so long, I sort of feel bad taking a refund on shipping cost also. Do you think I should?

    I am making $50 payments on an account once every month until it is paid in full. Once the account is paid in full, it will still be a negative mark on my credit report because it is going to say "aid" I only owe $1,000+, but less than $1,100 on the account. With me paying the payments and them still adding charges to the account, my balance isn't dropping. I want to do a "pay-for-delete" and send them an offer. If they accept the offer I will send them a check/money order within 10 days of their acceptance. Will I be able to do this or have I lost that chance? My goal is to rebuild my credit and I have been researching to do so, but I haven't found an answer to this question, nor have I even found this question asked online.
