  • Resolved Question: I wanted to share, New Mommy to New Mommy...?
You know when you have found something and you just want to share with everyone. It's like you feel you are the first to come across this great item and you feel like sending out post cards? lol… Well, I have two things, as a new mommy, that I have and I love. The first is this workout video. I know that workout videos seem so stupid most of the time! However, I found this on On Demand, on my Comcast cable. I worked out with the ones available and decided to ask for the whole set for Xmas. My sister ordered it from Walmart.com and got to pick it up at the local store for free. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5692961 The girls are a little risque, so if you are one to be pretty modest, it might not be for you...however, their bodies are definitely ones I am envious of! I have done all the workouts so far and I am so sore, however it feels SOOOO good! I just canceled my gym membership, my daughter had horrible experiences in the childcare, I don't know what they do in there but she hated it! They were paged me EVERY single time, because she was unconsolable! I don’t get it, and I don’t really think I care, I just don’t want to take her back there. She doesn’t cry at anyone’s house or with any stranger, I don’t know why she was crying in there! The work outs are no longer than 20 minutes and they seem super easy, until you get in to it! They kick my butt! My best friend was over last night, she is 22 weeks pregnant, and she was able to do the leg and arm workouts with me! I just like it because the girls don't have bodies that are too fit, in fact some of them look to be a bigger size then me. They don’t have size two frames, or bodies that are unachievable! It is as if they are embracing being 'thick' and fit! Also, the workouts are short enough that I can see the end and make it all the way through, but the best part is, they really work the muscles they say they are working! I have lost my 61 pounds, but things aren't as tight as they used to be, before I was pregnant! The second thing is this great bath for my daughter! http://www.target.com/Munchkin-Duck-Bathtub/dp/B000066665/sr=1-5/qid=1231445609/ref=sr_1_5/181-6984521-2053710?ie=UTF8&index=target&field-browse=1038590&rh=k%3Aduck%20bath&page=1 My daughter is almost nine months old and she had outgrown her little baby bath, however her sitting in the big bathtub wasn't working!...not to mention the amount of water that has to be run to fill the tub! We also had one of those safety seats, the one that went over the side of the tub, she is just too light. She would float in it and always slide down! We found this at Target and it is perfect! We had seen it before but thought it was just something silly! It is great because sometimes she still falls backwards, when gets oh so excited, and she just hits to edge of the inflated duck! She doesn't go under water, she doesn't hurt herself! It is also just enough water to be perfect for bath time! Here's a photo of her last night in it! http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/9499/dsc05572ht4.jpg So, I just thought I would share! EDIT: Maddison is adorable! We too had a jumper for Adalyn, my daughter, and we too had to put something behind her! You will be shocked at how it seems like it was forever ago you had to prop her up! She will jumping like a maniac before you know it! The Bumbo seat is great too! I wanted to share this with you, http://www.target.com/Bumbo-Play-Tray/dp/B000VHLIGW/sr=1-3/qid=1231447777/ref=sr_1_3/181-6984521-2053710?ie=UTF8&index=target&field-browse=1038590&rh=k%3Abumbo&page=1 , it's the tray for that seat! EDIT: Mommy to Olivia, we don't blow it up each time, no. There is a suction on the bottom, we use it to suction it to the bathtub wall. It is the upstairs, guest bath, so she is really the only one that uses it. Well, I guess you could say it is her bathroom! lol

running races. I would often query as to the reason behind my crooked, slightly bucked teeth. I would wonder how I could always forget my times tables, despite the fact that I would practice them every night. My mother would simply look down at me and answer, “Well, Rosie, nobody is perfect.” At the time, this made perfect sense to me. You see, my friend Sara always came first in races, however, seemed to struggle with simple addition. My friend Bella had striking blonde hair and perfect, white teeth, but could never exactly run fast enough to gain a place of importance. Time passed, and I grew older. My thoughts changed dramatically as my mind matured from child to teenager, but the one thought that remained the same was that of my mothers. I always figured that she was right- absolute perfection was impossible. That is, of course, until the day I met Melissa Young. Since I started at Harrington High School, it has taken three years of solid *** kissing, constant, yet painful waxing, and relentless hair straightening for me to finally become one of the selected few to gain an invite into Sophia’s exclusive group. I can recall my first day of high school as a distorted smear of bedlam. The framed photo on my living room mantle piece is a surplus reminder of the short, buck toothed little girl with a bit of baby fat that I used to be. I still shudder at the memory of how long my skirt was, my perfect tie and my rolled down socks. It was hard, starting a new school and not knowing anyone at all. The first person I met was a girl called Alexandra. She was a nice enough girl, I suppose. Wouldn’t be seen caught dead with her now, of course. Being part of the pack was a privilege, and a privilege I was not willing to give up. I was finally one of the elite few, and it felt good. I need constructive criticism. What do you like? • Resolved Question: Baby Shower Host Gift? I need suggestions!?
My mother and sister are hosting my baby shower next month for me and I want to get them something special. I'm willing to spend about $40 on each. They already have all those "bath & body" products and picture frames and whatnot. I'd like to get them something unique or practical. Any suggestions?
  • Open Question: Suggestions for Disney baby nursery theme?
Over the years, when my husband and I have preordered the Disney platinum edition DVDs, we've gotten lithographs of all the classic Disney movies (Lion King, Little Mermaid, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, etc.) that we'd like to frame in our baby's nursery. The problem is in our opinion a lot of the Disney baby bedding and merchandise is tacky (please don't attack me for this, it is just my personal opinion). I want something that goes along with the lithographs - soft colors, classy, not so bright and 'commercial' and something that any other Mom and Dad might be picking for their baby's bedroom (so I don't want baby bedding from Wal-Mart or Target, since pretty much everyone buys from there). Money isn't an issue as long as it isn't completely outrageously priced (I just can't make myself pay some prices!). Does anyone have any suggestions (or specific examples) of where I might find a nursery theme (looking not for unisex, but for both boy AND girl since we don't know the sex) that would not look out of place with the lithographs? It doesn't necessarily have to be Disney, just something that will go with it.

  • Open Question: recommend a prevention/remedy for heart attack/stroke and a heart specialist in arizona.?
my short story..... maternal family history....diabetes, cancers of many sorts(young siblings n old relatives), glaucoma, weak kidney, extreme ecxema, n a few other things. paternal history...possible digestion problems bc some have acne/skin problems. dad finally died of a heart attack, his sisters/siblings/cousins died of the same thing. they were all young, dad was only 42. my sister is 47 n has had congenital heart disease for years. she is in a wheelchair, on oxygen, n got a defibrillator implant last year. over the last few years i have had off and on high blood pressure. it was minor and i did not always need medication. i have had small symptoms of heart trouble for about 10 years. it never prevented me from doing anything and no doctor gave me any medications. about 10 years ago i noticed shortness of breath w the stair climbing, so i lost weight to accomodate. i have an extremely small frame so i went from what looked like average to skinny. that helped a lot. i did not associate the shortness of breath w anything else. there were bouts w stress and i lived in a house that poisoned me w various pollutions. the gase hot water heater was never properly hooked up and the vents were never properly cleaned. i breathed that for almost 15 years before i figured it out. i am sure that had something to do w my deterioration. early last year i had strange things like small tightness in the jaw joint from time to time and the throat closing like a suffication/choking. i had to concentrate to squeeze down air. i never knew how to quite explain that but the doctors dismissed it. once i was eating and suddenly could not swallow no matter how hard i concentrated. last year i went to a heart specialist w pain in my left arm. the office was horrible. they depended solely on a stress test but they could nt get the wires hooked up right. plus some girl was in training and did not know what she was doing. the supervisor came in to help but she was no better. when the visit was over i was upset because they told me nothing was wrong. just come back next year. i tried to convince them otherwise but i did not do a good job. i did not think to go to another specialist. months went by. eventually i walked down my hallway and suddenly out of the blue felt nauseous then faint. i did not faint, but since i did not know what it was i was puzzled with the episode. about june i started to have serious shortness of breath and problems w high blood pressure. my doctor left the country and i did not find a replacement. i had daily headaches n it seems that i had them so bad it could have been a small stroke. maybe i am paranoid, but something did go wrong. the doctors have no idea what i describe to them. i am gettting upset just thinking about it but no one took this seriously so i trusted them and thought i was in better shape than i really was. with horrific stress, divorce, job problems, financial difficulty (the usual stress killers), etc. i find that i have symptoms that i have never encountered before. pressure/light tightness from head to toe on the left side. turned to burning on the left side. flushed cheeks. dull tingling/numbness of the lower face/tongue/lips, dizziness and uncontrolled hbp. the numbers range from the low 100's to 160+. before it was far over that. when all this started the numbers were only about 125 and i thought that was horrible. it changes from minute to minute even with a stronger medication. the dull pain in my arm moved up to near my armpit then it moved to the left side of my upper chest. i try to keep it as low as possible by drinking hot tea or soup. it drops a few points (ie: from 160 to 140) but i can not seem to keep it under 140. excercise does not seem to help. my heart pounds excessively and has done so for about 4 months. it does not matter if the pressure rate is down or not. all i take is hbp medicine and vitamins one time each day. i saw a new heart specialist who is just having me wait for testing. while i wait, i made an appointment w a 3rd heart specialist. in the meantime i asked my existing doctor (2nd) what can be done n i was told to go the ER. no thanks. the bill used to be only 50.00 for ER but now the visits are now close to 1k with insurance. the health care system i am in told me that the doctors don't contract with them anymore. after insurance, i still have a large bill. so here i am asking you what i can do to keep my hbp under control and to prevent a heart attack and stroke. i am about 50 years old, female, over 5feet 7inches tall, small/skinny frame and i could not take any more medical/financial trauma. i never smoked/drank or did drugs but i find myself taking tylenol every day for the headaches. i never like junk food. as a baby my favorite foods were vegetables. i dont eat a perfect diet becasue of the high food prices. my kitchen has poultry, canned leafy greens, canned beans, canned tuna, canned beets, rice, dried

  • Resolved Question: How Was My Eating Today... Please, I Need Honest Opinions!?
I know this is a silly question, but last fall i was hospitalized for an eating disorder, and i put on about 15lbs. I am now 17 years old, 5'4 and weigh about 96lbs (i have a small frame). However, over the holidays and things i have been busy and haven't been keeping up well with my eating, and it has dropped maybe 1-2lbs, so im worried about it. I have decided to get back on track with my eating. I need to at least maintain my weight, maybe gain a few, but definitely not lose. Here is what i ate today: breakfast slice of whole wheat toast w/ 2 tbsp peanut butter, medium apple, 8oz orange juice lunch turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread, 2 slices of cheese, spinach, avocado slices, handful of baby carrots with a little ranch, orange juice snack lowfat yogurt and 10 mini pretzels dinner 3oz grilled chicken breast, spinach/tomato salad with tbsp almonds, tbsp thousand island dressing, 8oz low fat milk Snack Kashi granola bar and 8oz low fat milk I am lightly active (i lift weights 3-4 times a week and walk my dog around the neighborhood on some nights). Do you think this sounds like a good day of eating? Remember, I can't lose any weight, i am trying to maintain or gain. Thanks

Thanks!

  • Open Question: My Samsung BL103 isn't very good. It doesn't fix blurry photos, red-eye, and it makes my photos appear paler!?
Why does it do this and how can I fix it? I was talking photos of my baby brother swinging and all most all of them are blurry. This is extremely upsetting because if they weren't blurry then these photos would be really, really great to frame and hang up. Also, many had red eye and the flash on my camera makes everything seem washed out! Why is my camera take such crappy photos and how can I fix this for free? Anyone know of a free photo editor than can clear up blurry photos? It doesn't have a movement mode. What is this camera good for? what If I went to a friends sporting event? WOULD ALL MY PICS BE BLURRY? I find this hard to believe and very disappointing. I was expecting the digital camera to make the photos look great, instead I'm getting the same effect of a throw away camera.

  • Resolved Question: Does anyone experience vivid dreams like this?
Almost every night I've been having vivid, marathon dreams (meaning that when I wake up and go back to sleep, it starts where it left off). They almost have my boyfriend in them. We are very happy living together and spend a lot of time together. In my dreams though, I am constantly searching for him or evading something bad that is going to happen to me or someone close to me. Sometimes, I can tell myself it's just a dream and I let the bad thing happen. Last night I had a dream that a woman pulled something small out of my finger and it hurt so bad in the dream, I actually flinched and woke up. It wasn't like one of those jerks right before you go to sleep though. I've been having these my whole life, but especially in the past couple years. I wake up in a cranky mood because I want to finish my dream because they are so interesting, but nerve racking at the same time. I also feel like I haven't slept all night (no matter if I get 2, 8, or 13 hours of sleep). Some examples of dreams I've had are: 1. My mom asked me what the weather was like, so I looked outside the living room window. The sky was bright blue with white skulls in the pattern of the stars on the American flag. When I told my mom, she died. I told her boyfriend at the time and was sitting infront of the TV playing video games and didn't care. This was all a dream I can remember since I was 3 or 4. First very realistic dream I can remember. 2. I had a dream I died and floated into outerspace. There was a huge film real and it was rotating into the earth. I picked a frame and was immediately born again as a baby. There's plenty more, but does anyone know why I have such intense dreams?

  • Voting Question: Do you find this intriguing? Would you read on?
I had just wrote it just to write a while back. I know there are some kinks I need to work out with the setting and time frame and all that. Anyways, what do you think? "Congratulations on your victory Fabian!" Fabian. What kind of name is that? It sounded like something out of a cheesy harlequin novel. Yet all the girls couldn't see to get it out of their minds. "Oh Fabian!" "Oh Fabian" Oh give me a break! He wasn't that amazing and I should be the one to know. I was his Personal Assistant...minus the "istant" part which translates into Personal A$$. Working for him was worse than any punishment they could ever give me in a courthouse. I would quit but it was a way to get into the lucrative business of Knighting. I wanted to be one more than anything else. I wanted it all. The fame. The glory. The honor. None of which I currently had. Fame? Well I was infamous....if that counts. I was known as the notorious "Town Clown". Cool nickname? Not really, but it seemed to be catchy to other kids in town who liked to remind me of the time when a male sheep dog tried to mate with me. Glory? I only had the glory of being the winner of the pie eating contest at the fair. And honor? Not a drop. Honor was stripped away from me before I was born when my father was caught in a "traitorous plot" to overthrough the king. He left some time after my birth due to the fact that the whole town turned on him. Since then I've been known as the son of a "traitor". Well, the thing I wanted more from Knighting than anything else was the girls. Yeah, I know you're probably thinking "Why Girls?". Well if you're anything like me and you've never had a girl even look at you (excluding mothers, sisters, and other female relatives), then you probably want one. My first and only crush was Princess Carnella but my first encounter with her made a very bad impression. I was with Fatty (one of my many terms for Fabian) one day when he was invited to the palace after defeating some dragon, troll, or whatever. We were about to meet the royal family and some weird, servant lady runs to me and tells me to hold her baby while she uses the bathroom. And I know your thinking "What the hell?" and trust me, so was I. So I was holding the....thing and I noticed a peculiar smell. It was the smell of rotten eggs and garlic. I automatically assumed the baby had soiled itself so out of my sheer boyish curiosity (I was fifteen at the time), I leaned in closer to sniff it. There was silence and I looked up to realize everyone in the room was staring at me while I had my nose inches away from this baby's rear. The princess was pointing a finger at me and had a disgusted look on her face. "Answer me! I said what are you doing?" I opened my mouth trying to get an explanation out but my words were caught because one, I was dumbfounded by her royal hotness, and two, I was caught in a bad moment. "Were you sniffing that baby's butt?" "Um...uh...wa-wa-well um...see what had happened was..." "Guards! Take this sick boy out of our castle!" Two troll-looking guys come over and throw me--I mean literally throw me-- out of the castle. They didn't even give me the right to walk. So now the lust of my life thought I was a baby sniffer, and I had another thing to add to my "Town Clown" reputation. Oh, goodie! That was my only encounter with a girl besides the screaming twelve year olds who only talk to me to ask "Do you think you could get me an autograph with Fabian?" Um...let me think...NO!!! I actually challenged myself to a game one day where I took a sip of brandy every time someone asked me that. And incase you were wondering... I was drunk within the hour. So today I was going to be rid of Fabian. The dagger in my existence. The dear Princess Carnella was kidnapped by some sorceror and was locked in a tower guarded by some dragon thing. A strong knight would be the one to "rescue her from her misery". He had to be brave, daring, and pretty much everything that didn't describe me. This was Fabian's kind of thing. The slaying monsters, conquering villains, getting the girl...all of that described him. He would have been well on his way to saving her but the King wanted to ask the Wise Mirror who it should be to make sure she could get the best saving the world could offer. This annoyed Fabian but didn't faze him much. He already knew he'd be chosen. His prize would be the princess' hand in marriage. Something I could only dream about. I was jealous and happy at the same time because although I wish it could be me, at least I would now be the Ass-istant to royalty. I daydreamed about the lofty job of working in the castle. That would be great on my application to Knight School. Fabian the Fabulous wouldn't be so great without me, Derek "Town Clown" Rogers. Fabian walked towards me with that unforgetable smugness on his face. "Dejay?" "It's Derek!" I clenched my fists. Could he ever get my name right? "Whatever. Can we talk privately?" Edit to Allison: My novel isn't about Fabian. My main character hates Fabian. I wish you would have read on...
  • Voting Question: Do you want to play the name game?
This is based off a real family. Whoever gets the most names right gets the 10 points! First and middle please. #1 Your first baby is born. It's a healthy little boy. When he grows up he's athletic and very sweet and protects his younger siblings. He has brown eyes and sandy curls. What is his name? #2 Your second child is born. It's another little boy! He has straight light blonde hair and beautiful bluish green eyes. He is kind of whiney but likes to follow what his older brother does. What do you think his name is? #3 Finally you have a girl! And she is simply gorgeous. She has rosy cheeks and light blonde hair. Her eye lashes are very long and frame her bluish green eyes. She is a little princess because she has so many brothers. And she is a bit of a drama queen. What do you think her name is? #4 Another Boy! He was born for the cameras! He loves to smile for pictures. He has light blonde curls and very dark brown eyes. He loves to run around and will probably be athletic like his oldest brother. What would his name be? Have fun! Ok here's a hint: They're all fairly common, classic names. Someone got one right! (and it was not the person who put all the bobs)

  • Voting Question: I need decorating ideas.?
I don't have a lot of furniture. I want to make a little look like a lot. Will adding a rug make it look more put together? the pieces don't match. I also have a ton of baby toys all over the place. I think I have figured out where to put them but I'm still working on everything else. Where should I store my papers? Where can I get cheap decorations? I have picture frames ect. But the wall is huge and they look dumb all alone even though they are 8x10 or 10x13 in size. I can't paint the walls but I have some artwork of my own. Do I have to frame it? They are fairly big and it would cost me a ton so I don't want to but I don't want them to look like crap either so I haven't done anything. We moved 4 months ago but it looks like we just moved in last week! I need help getting this place together. Any ideas? Thanks. Black is my fiance and my favorite color but we don't like goth stuff.
  • Resolved Question: I need an opinion on my story?
I need some feedback on this story I'm writing. My friend said it was good but i need a few more opinions. Her unclothed, bare feet hit the moist, frosty ground with lighting fast speed as she darted through the Anathema Forest, carrying what was said to be the difference concerning existence and downfall of her race in her resilient but refined hands. Her lengthy, white-blonde hair streamed behind her like a banner; her icy-blue eyes searched for trouble. The elongated, white dress she bore was made of the purest silk, which flowed and billowed around her as she proceeded through the trees, snagging on every twig and branch that was in her immediate route; she was unconcerned with it. Neveah’s slender body frame and strong build made running effortless for her and she did not tire easy. Neveah was a one-hundred-seventy-year-old elf who appeared as if she were only seventeen years of age, making being noticeable easier for her than most, which was her problem as of now. She was one of the few hundred elves left of her race and the baby she carried was what was going to keep them alive. As she ran for her life and the baby’s, Neveah kept her eyes and ears open for any signs of the Hirelings. They were a class of their own and intended to be feared by all no matter the strength of their kind. Their powers were extensively beyond the abilities of any elf or human, even if they could do magic. They were nearly twice the size of the average, full-grown, human male and twice as strong. Their eyes were always bloodshot and lined with prominent dark circles. As a sign of reliance to their leader, each had their heads shaved and tattooed with a variety of symbols. With their bare hands, cunning antics, and devious minds, they could hunt down and either kill or place their victim into a suffering state of madness within a matter of seconds. If you should ask anyone, death was better than being left in the state of madness the Hirelings could constrain one into. However, Neveah’s mind was equally devious and her actions were precisely as cunning. She had survived and managed to out-smart them in the city of Nepas, outrunning them altogether into the Anathema forest where she now continued to duck through the trees. Over time, storms and the forests in habitants had ravaged the once beautiful landscape. The forest floor was dotted with deep holes and fallen trees. The Anathema was the second most treacherous forest in the entire country of S’retlina; it came subsequent to the K’nevlen forest. They both hosted an array of carnivorous animals that were nearly as, if not more harmful as the Hirelings were. It took courage for one to enter the forest alone. Neveah decelerated her velocity vaguely as she became aware that the Hirelings most likely did not pursue her. Even they, the most feared race in all of S’retlina, dreaded the forest. She looked around for a split instant and realized she was lost and helpless. They needed out but she didn’t know the way. The dark landscape looked the same no matter which way she turned. To her right, there was nothing but trees and darkness, the same to her left, her back, and front. There was nothing but the wild darkness of the Anathema Forest. She picked up speed again, looking for signs of a secure place. Neveah looked behind her for an instant as she ran. That solitary inconsequential mistake knocked her unconscious as she turned around to face a partially fallen tree that clothes lined her across the neck. She hit the ground violently but the baby fell smoothly from her arms. Her back thudded loudly as it hit a rock beneath her and she lost her breath but for only a moment. She lay there motionless, unable to move. Neveah wanted so badly to pull the baby into her arms just to know that there was someone else there. The night gradually slipped away as she drifted in and out of consciousness before finally closing her eyes and falling victim to the imminent darkness. Though her body didn’t respond to the actions her brain wanted it to perform, her mind was still free for her to think and hope that some one caring enough would find them and help them. The baby meant everything. If they didn’t save her, the least they could do was take the baby, make sure it was protected, and out of harms way. She had saved the baby from being killed, which, in return, saved the existence of her race and that’s all that mattered. What surprised her was that the baby had not made a sound since they had fled the city. Neveah, with her enhanced hearing, could make out the baby’s breathing. She was relieved that it was still alive and was not concerned that it was not making a sound. Finally, succumbed by the unconsciousness that beckoned to her mind, Neveah let herself depart and temporarily slipped away. Just to fill everyone in (and I will do some editing in my story to confirm this) Neveah is carrying the baby in her arms. She is not pregnant and the baby is not hers.

  • Resolved Question: Your big family needs some names!!!?
Wow, you have a very big family, and you love them all in a different way! What are their names and ages? 1) It's a girl! Fair complexion with rosy cheeks and big brown eyes. Her face is lightly sprinkled with freckles, especially on her nose. Blond, curly hair in ringlets. She is almost always kind and generous but can get stubborn and grumpy when she is tired. She loves to play dress up as a kid, but when she gets older, she's a reader through and through. What is her name? 2) Another girl, another bundle of joy! She is so different from her big sister, you'd think they weren't related! Short, straight, jet black hair frames a spunky, wild face with a cute little nose and clear blue eyes. Through all her childhood, she has a wild side and is a silly one at heart. What is her name? 3) Hoping for a boy and your wishes came true! Adores his big sisters and also loves to pester them. He's a curly, blond-brunette, blue eyes with a tiny birth-mark on his face that looks like a dove. Sweet and sometimes annoying, he's your average, wonderful little brother. What is his name? 4,5 and 6) You expect one, you get three! Two handsome boys and a beautiful baby girl. The boys are identical, with wavy blond hair, green eyes and olive skin. They are inseparable and are obsessed with anything Star Wars. The little girl has straight red hair (just like her daddy!) and freckles. She laughs at everything. She's a combo of sweet and sassy and when she gets older she loves competition. What is her name? 7) Your 7th is a girl! She has wavy brunette hair and gray eyes with tan skin and no freckles. She likes being the only one with gray eyes and sometimes brags about it. If she had anymore friends, she forget their names! She loves to sing and she ignores people when she is angry. What is her name? 8) Your 8th is a surprise! He copies whatever the twins do, though sometimes it gets him in trouble. He has brunette-red hair that he doesn't brush as much as he should. He is wonderful in math, but sometimes puts up an argument when it is science homework time. What is his name? 9 and 10) You adopt twins from Mexico. One is a little girl and one is a boy. They are so much alike. They have dark skin and thick black hair. They love going to the park and they look up to their bigger siblings. They get their feelings hurt easily but can forgive even easier. What are their names? lol courtney yes you are one busy mom =)
  • Resolved Question: do I have to wait six weeks before I start attempting to travel with the baby?
I want to be able to take my baby to church with me after birthing so he can be baptized. Do I really have to wait the full 6 weeks? Or is it a shorter or longer time frame? Thanks Btw, just wondering cause my aunt is really petty and I don't have time for playing sneaking games with my ex just so he can see his child (this isn't her house, its her moms who passed last year and put both mines and her name on the will) Oh, thanks. I am worried cause I don't want to leave my baby with anyone for the first 3 months. I want to spend a lot of time with him since he's going to be my first
  • Resolved Question: HELP! Ive put on weight since having babies, does he still find me attractive?
Im 5'6" and have always been into exercising and eating right. Ive never been a tiny girl but my frame doesnt allow it. Im naturally an hourglass figure. Since having 2 children 12 months apart (my eldest is 14months now) Ive put on 25kgs. Im trying very hard to work on my body but pregnancy has not been kind to me and I feel like its gonna be a long time b4 I get back to what I used to be. I spoke to him about it and he said he doesnt care and he knows Im bigger at the moment. I feel disgusting to him and Im ashamed to walk around naked. He seems to perve on skinny girls (I can appreciate a beautiful woman and I know he's faithful), I just cant stop thinking that he wished I looked like someone else. :( Id like to let you know "Cool B" that I am not UGLY, Im beautiful. Just because Im rounder than normal doesn't make me ugly.

  • Resolved Question: How long does it take for a bird to hatch out of the egg?
My doves laid an egg 15 days ago. Tonight, it has a little hole in it and I could feel the bird inside move a bit. Does it take awhile for the babies to hatch out of the egg? Should I be concerned if it takes awhile? What is the proper time frame for a bird to hatch? (Not like, the 2 weeks, but the physical act of coming out of the egg.)

  • Voting Question: Would we be a cute couple to you?
Ok well, I was wondering what people thought when they saw my boyfriend and I together... and no, I am not insecure with our relationship, I'm just curious as to what people think... I'm not putting up a picture of us, but I'll describe us... My boyfriend, Patrick, is 26 and he has hazel eyes and blonde hair that is cut at about ear-length, and kind of like... feathered? (I dunno, I don't know how to explain it haha). He's Caucasian and kinda pale. He's about 5'8'' and he's very physically strong... he has a medium-sized body frame, but he's very fit... He's got kind of a baby-face, and very soft eyes. I'm 25 and have really straight, light brown hair that's about to my elbows, and bangs that go straight across my forehead, and end a little below my eyebrows. I have almond-shaped dark brown eyes, and I'm about 5'6''. I'm very skinny, and I'm a dance teacher, so obviously, I have a dancer's body. I'm Caucasian as well, but my skin a bit more tan. I'm kind of a mix between girly-girl and skater/rocker... haha Based on this, what would you think of us? And again, I'm just curious... I'm not asking because I'm superficial or insecure with our relationship or anything... I love Patrick for what's inside, but I'm just curious... so don't jump all over me about being insecure, yadda yadda yadda. Thank you :)

But like, in physical appearance, what makes us so different from other couples... obviously we find each other attractive, but what is it that makes my friends think we look so perfect together as opposed to any other couple? My boyfriend, Patrick, is 26 and he has hazel eyes and blonde hair that is cut at about ear-length, and kind of like... feathered? (I dunno, I don't know how to explain it haha). He's Caucasian and kinda pale. He's about 5'8'' and he's very physically strong... he has a medium-sized body frame, but he's very fit (like, the kinda guy that makes any girl feel safe around him)... He's got kind of a baby-face, and very soft eyes. I'm 25 and have really straight, light brown hair that's about to my elbows, and bangs that go straight across my forehead, and end a little below my eyebrows. I have dark brown eyes, and I'm about 5'6''. I'm very skinny, and I'm a dance teacher, so obviously, I have a dancer's body. I'm Caucasian as well, but my skin a bit more tan. I'm kind of a mix between girly-girl and skater/rocker... haha But why are we so different from other couples? I forgot to mention that I have almond-shaped eyes
  • Resolved Question: Best stroller and car seat combo for new baby under $200?
I am tired of sorting through hundreds of reviews on Babies R Us and Target.com trying to figure out what stroller and car seat combo to buy before our baby arrives. We would like it to be under $200, and the one that goes from the stroller frame to the car seat base. We would also like it to have a canopy, cup holders and storage basket underneath the seat. We don't care about color really, but would prefer black or tan. Can anyone help us?
