My friend told me about this dream she had were both of us became pregnant. We delivered around the same time, but I didn't want my baby. :(. Okay so here's some backround on both our families His: they are salvadorian/mexican, lower class, no education, dark skinned..... Well, I started her on rice cereal for 7 days and she was fine then I went to pablum for 7 days and she was also fine on that Then I went to barley and she was only on it for 2 days and she was fussy and gassy and a little constipated. So, is she allergic to it or does it just not agree with her belly? I was kind of thinking of going back to rice and pablum for a few days then trying the barley again to see if the same thing happens because ya never know the gassy and fussiness might of had nothing to do with it BUT I don't want to give it to her again if she is allergic. hi, I was delighted to hear i was having a baby girl when i went for my 3d ultrasound at 18 weeks 6 days. The tech showed us that the baby was female by showing us a 2d image of her legs and 3 lines between them! The only thing im concerned about, is that i have looked at other people's girl 'toilet shots' and they have 3 lines like a 'hamburger'. Mine looks more like 3 lines in a triangular shape. The tech seemed very competent and said 100% a girl. Even when i quizzed her further she said definately a girl. Can anyone explain why the lines are positioned like they are and not like a 'hamburger'. Is it something to do with the angle of the ultrasound picture? help! I hope that she is a 'she'! she says I have preeclampsia. hello, i am a mom of two weeks baby boy. he is been on formula and nursery water. everytime when he is hungry, i give him the bottle, but he will jump on the nipple as if he has never had any food. then he will suck so fast, that often times i take it out to make sure the milk gets into his body, but despite of doing this, he will cough in between..is it common? also, is this something to be concerned about. i also had another question, i have this pediatrician, he has been around for a while (close to 30 years of experience) and there are a couple of instances where i had to call him, and he just says don't worry about it..don't worry about it. but since this is my first baby, i need an explanation to better understand the problem. is this common for doctors to reply like this with no explanation. what do you feel about it?

Im almost 36 weeks and I've been noticing my daughter who is 5 almost 6 is showing signs of jealousy towards the new baby who isn't even here yet. okay i have a shit load of stretch marks :( i hate it ... it makes me feel so ugly i am not fat i am short and average i had a baby that made these stretch marks :( i was 32 weeks without stretch marks then i ended up going to the hospital for a blood transfusion and 12 ivys put in me ... which blew me up into a balloon i really wanna get rid of them so i can feel and look sexy for my husband again... i don't want him looking at other women that don't have that problem these stress marks lowers my confidence and self esteem so what is the case is there a way to get rid of them if so how much how long how do they do it ?!? I am only 109 lbs when i was pregnant i was only 132 i gained the right amount of weight... there has to be something done to work for these ugly non attracting marks

I want an Au-pair so bad once I have my first baby. I wonder what others think about them and if they have had one or would consider one. I was an Au-pair in Italy and my job was to keep the kids 4 hours in the afternoon and play with them. The main purpose in me being there was to speak English with them so that they would be fluent in more then one language. They basically live with you and then you pay them a weekly allowance and food and board. They are big in Europe but Im not sure how many people in the United States use them. Okay, i was in wal-mart and i went back into the bathroom. When i went into the bathroom, i was automatically in the backroom, like where the employees go. I walked back into the room (i worked there once, so i suppose i kinda knew what it looked like..) and found some boxes laying around and there was lighter fluid on a cart thing...like ready to go up on the shelves. I somehow had a box cutter in my hands and cut open the fluid celephane, when i did that lighter fluid started spurting EVERYWHERE....some got on my arm too! I saw someone standing like 30 feet from me, near the door and ran up to them...telling them there was lighter fluid everywhere. They ran over there with a mop and called out on their walkie-talkie some bullshit i didn't understand....some codes like "we gotta 12-23 in the main base" ya know. While he was on the thing, i lit a cigarette. When i did the lighter caught on fire, when that happened i threw the lighter down, and when i did that the whole pile of lighter-fluid soaked boxes made a big "FOOM!" noise and an explosion of fire appeared. I remember the heat, it seemed REALLY real. I ran up the stairs (they have stairs back there). When i went through the door there was 3 little dogs laying in there and an old man chopping something on the counter with a big, stereotyped butcher knife. I screamed that there was a fire and as SOON as i finished screaming the word "FIRE" it was like 'click' and he was RIGHT in front of me, face to face, and i couldn't move... I looked into his eyes, and they were so so so SO dead. There was absolutely nothing there....and at some point i saw that he was chopping up a bag (like a burlap sack)with a baby in it.... From the time he 'clicked' and was in front of me to the point where i saw the bag with the baby in it all happened in like 3-5 seconds. I woke up and was sweating heavily, terrified. does anyone know what it means??
