so i had 4 things in "my bag" and i was ready to purchase everything. i filled out all the information up to the point where it asks for my nickname. whenever i click on my name, my computer freezes up and i have to shut down. does this happen with anyone else? is that website giving anyone else other problems? btw, i put my question in this category because more people my age are answering questions here rather than in "businesses."

Open Question: How can I deal with my heavy school bag? ?
Everyday I feel I come home and my back is hurting especially in the winter when I have to wear a jacket. My back is becoming more sore and my question is how can I deal with this. I have no lockers, I think parents have complained the teachers just ignore. I love homeopathy, but I get freaked out by the fact that electromagnetic radiation can harm them. But can that really be true? Everyone is carrying around mobiles, so if a shop is open to the public, wouldn't customer's phones damage the meds on display? I've just wandered into my bathroom and stood next to my cabinet for 15 minutes talking on my mobile, before I remembered that's where my goodies are stored, and now I can wait and hope they "recover" in a few weeks, or be unlucky and they won't... Any experience with that? I once carried a tube of Arsenic Alb in my bag with a mobile and it was totally useless, but an older tube of the same med worked. I left this one for half a year, and decided to give it a try before throwing it out, and it worked again! That's what I'm basing that "recovering" hope on. I use Arsenic alb. for hangovers and food poising type stuff, so the effect is dramatic if it works, and it normally always does and quick, so I can rely on that one :D

My girlfriend and me were together for 2 years. We broke up on wedsday after she broke up with me. My heart was broken and i have crying my butt off. Some guys know how it feels to love a girl and then that girl breaking your heart. There was a promise between us that she broke. She promised me she would not drink. Well she did with her cousions and got drunk in Arizona. She lied to me and told me she did nothing wrong. Then when she comes back i see her as a different person. normally I don't, but today a friend left his bag of fast food ( I hate fast food!!) in my car and it smelled so I had to get it out.. Okay, i was in wal-mart and i went back into the bathroom. When i went into the bathroom, i was automatically in the backroom, like where the employees go. I walked back into the room (i worked there once, so i suppose i kinda knew what it looked like..) and found some boxes laying around and there was lighter fluid on a cart thing...like ready to go up on the shelves. I somehow had a box cutter in my hands and cut open the fluid celephane, when i did that lighter fluid started spurting EVERYWHERE....some got on my arm too! I saw someone standing like 30 feet from me, near the door and ran up to them...telling them there was lighter fluid everywhere. They ran over there with a mop and called out on their walkie-talkie some bullshit i didn't understand....some codes like "we gotta 12-23 in the main base" ya know. While he was on the thing, i lit a cigarette. When i did the lighter caught on fire, when that happened i threw the lighter down, and when i did that the whole pile of lighter-fluid soaked boxes made a big "FOOM!" noise and an explosion of fire appeared. I remember the heat, it seemed REALLY real. I ran up the stairs (they have stairs back there). When i went through the door there was 3 little dogs laying in there and an old man chopping something on the counter with a big, stereotyped butcher knife. I screamed that there was a fire and as SOON as i finished screaming the word "FIRE" it was like 'click' and he was RIGHT in front of me, face to face, and i couldn't move... I looked into his eyes, and they were so so so SO dead. There was absolutely nothing there....and at some point i saw that he was chopping up a bag (like a burlap sack)with a baby in it.... From the time he 'clicked' and was in front of me to the point where i saw the bag with the baby in it all happened in like 3-5 seconds. I woke up and was sweating heavily, terrified. does anyone know what it means??

Open Question: Will a plastic garment bag seal in the odor from a dead body?
This is for the murder mystery I am writing so nobody panic. The scene is a girl who has been missing for three weeks was stuffed into a plastic garment bag then placed under a box-spring and mattress. Would the body odor seep through or would the plastic actually seal everything in? Any technical help/advice will be appreciated. I'm betting it may not, so any ideas what would besides a body bag. Cause I dont see the killer running around with body bags in his trunk.

Open Question: How often should wool/cashmere sweaters be washed?
Hi all! In past winters, I used to wear a lot of hoodies and cotton sweaters to keep warm...I washed them once a week just dropping them in with my other laundry with no problem. However, this winter I bought several wool, cashmere, and silk/cashmere blend sweaters during the Black Friday sales as well as other big sales. So my first question is: how often do I actually need to wash these sweaters (e.g. after wearing them how many times?). I heard that washing sweaters too often can alter the size and shape, and that even using *dry cleaning* too often can damage the fabric because of the chemicals used. So, If I get a stain on them or something I will wash them right away, but assuming that there are no stains, how often do I need to wash them? So, like, one wash after X number of times wearing it? Or one wash every X days/weeks? etc... (Is there a different answer for wool sweaters vs. cashmere sweaters?) When I do wear a sweater, I usually wear it for a whole day at a time. My second question is, which of the following options I'm considering would you recommend? (1) machine wash cold, on gentle cycle, in a mesh bag with gentle detergent. (2) hand wash (3) dry clean. Is the machine option (1) safe if I do it carefully? I'm leaning towards that because I'm really busy at school & work so I don't know if I have the energy to hand wash, whereas dry cleaning is the most expensive and apparently the chemicals are bad for the clothes? If there's a little risk--since I bought all these sweaters on sale at more than 50% off anyhow, it wouldn't be the end of the world if I accidentally wrecked one of them, but of course I would prefer not to wreck anything since these are nice sweaters even though I bought them on sale. Can anyone experienced with these kinds of fabrics advise me please? Thank you!!!

Open Question: Should I give a refund?
I sold a ski/gym/athletic bag on kijiji.ca and the person who bought it sent someone else to pick up the bag and to pay for it. An hour later they called and said that I sold them a different bag then I advertised. The model of the bag was quoted incorrectly initially but had been updated 3 days ago with the correct photo and description. I think that since they picked up the bag in person AND they decided to send someone else to pick it up for them that I shouldn't be obligated to return the money. It's not my fault that he couldn't be there to do the exchange himself. Shouldn't it be buyer beware especially when buying things on/from the internet? Ad was corrected BEFORE it was actually sold.

If my horses got into a fifty pound bag of feed and split it three ways is there a chance that they will founder, its 14 percent feed. its not grain its pellets, and they ate it yesterday and they havent shown signs of colic. should I still call the vet? they left like ten pounds of feed in the bag too

This is a strange question. I bought tickets from the Southwest Airline website for a flight with one transfer in Phoenix. The Phoenix airport says that "you should plan transfer flight times to allow for changing terminals and RECHECKING YOUR BAGGAGE!" I've never had to do this before on a connecting flight! If I'm flying Southwestern the whole way, will I need to change terminals and recheck my bags? I only have half an hour between flights! Barely enough time to go through security a second time! We have a 5year old and a 3month old. We choose not to use sitters mostly because of our own comfort level. Our kids adored by my Mom and dad. they rarely watch our kids. me & hubby trade on and off when he gets off work he watches the kids while I go to work. well last Tuesday I got called in to work 4 hr.and hubby could not watch the kids cause he worked later then usual. so I called my mother in the morning to let her know if she can watch the kids that evening she said that's fine. Well I dropped the kids off at her house and the kids were all happy well when I arrived to work my mom called me saying my son was caring non stop so I advised her try the bottle of breast milk I packed in the diaper bag, she told me he was refusing it. so I told her to rock him and try again in a little while to feed him and hang up. I work at peds clinic urgent care so we were swamped. an hour later my mom called again, telling me I need to come get my son he is non stop crying. I was really upset, so I told her I have two more hours till I get off, so she told me she would bring in my son to our urgent clinic cause she thought something could be wrong. So I told her that would be fine, my folks came into the clinic with the kids all mad looking and my mom embarrassed me in front of the receptionist stating "he cried the whole time" and she it breaks her heart to see him cry the whole time, I told her I feel frustration so I took her to the exam room and my baby, she argued with me that he wants my boob not the bottle and that he is far to young to be away from me, and that I shouldn't work, I explained to her I have to work that I need insurance for my kids and money, she kept saying "your husband can work while u stay home". so then the doctor came in and did his exam on my son, my son was quite for the time being since I was in the room, so the doctor simply stated nothing is wrong just colic and he gave different techniques of giving the bottle, such as a shot glass or medicine syringe. so after that it was time to go home, sine then my mom has not offered to babysit or give it another shot, I even explained to her she can babysit him at our home at my sons comfort surroundings.She knows that me & hubby are tired and desperate for time alone but I think she won't be offering anytime soon. any advice please?

I walked into this electronics store in Vancouver run by these Chinese people (I am Chinese too, so it's not racist), I do my shopping and on the way out I am told that they have a new store policy that they must check all bags on the way out. I am aware that you had to leave your bags like backpacks and everything at the counter on the way in, but I was thinking just a plastic shopping bag from Future Shop, no big deal. But what new store policy? I didn't see no sign on the way in that said even plastic shopping bags had to be checked in. No where did I see they had a new store policy. Well, knowing that I didn't steal anything of course I didn't mind them searching through my bag. But as I came home I was wondering, do I have the right to refuse a search? Do they even have the right to search my bag? After thinking, am I not protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms from "unreasonable search"? If they want to search my bag, they will have to call the police and to give the officer sufficient evidence that I may have stolen something and placed it in the bag before the police officer can even search me?

Open Question: Where can my dog poop?
Let me start by saying that I have never once allowed my dog to poop without cleaning it up. I always have bags with me, I always clean up his poop. I live in a residential neighborhood and I do not allow my dog to poop or pee on anybody's lawn. However, I do let him relieve himself on the strip between the sidewalk and the curb. Again, I ALWAYS clean up after him. This morning a guy came out of his house yelling like a madman "Get your f*ing dog off my lawn." He was a large guy, and it almost seemed like he was ready to become violent. I told him that it was my understanding that dogs could use the space between the sidewalk and the curb and that it was city property. He said (in a somewhat psychotic fashion) that it was his property and he colorfully requested that I take my dog elsewhere. My question is what the law states regarding this. I have not been able to find an answer on the web. I'm sure local laws probably vary on this. I live in Culver City, California. Does anyone know what the laws are regarding this? I wasn't clear enough here. My dog was not on the guy's lawn, he was on the area between the sidewalk and the curb. In fact, he wasn't even pooping, he was just walking in the grass. My question is really about what the law is regarding this. I've always assumed that between the sidewalk and the curb was city property.

So.... There's this guy from the city who's kind of having a rough time. Fired from his job, wife left him, nothing really to live for. After going through this for a while, he decides he needs to escape. So he calls up his cousins out in the countryside. "Sure, come on out, we'd love to see ya!" So he packs a bag and drives out to their farm. A few days pass, and our hero is starting to get a pretty strong urge. Hey guys, I'm doing boxing fitness, and I try to do it very regularly, but now I've gone back to university I can't hang the heavy bag up of course (in my room). Likewise if I put it on the wall when i smack it it makes a terrific noise, which I'm sure will annoy my neighbors. Btw I would join a gym but the uni one has been closed this year and the others are waaaay to expensive. im a specialist in the army and i just had a baby. I was raised in placements which are kind of like orphanages I dont have any parents and the babies father is a douche bag and swears the baby isnt his but she looks just like him. i love the army but i want to get out to raise my child i also dont think that raising a child in the military is a great thing and plus my unit deploys when my baby is only eight months old. but anyways i went in to get my paper work signed (fcp) by the commander and he signed it but said we can still keep you in the army even if you dont have a family care plan just be cause i sign this doesnt mean youll be getting discharged. so my question is if i dont have a family care plan can they really keep me in the military without one and if they can what can i do to get out as soon as possible. thanx

This is about more money for the government and that's it. Simply counter-intuitive.

I think my baby has dropped, there is alot of pressure and it feels like there's a freaking baseball between my legs, but I'm not having any pain or anything like that, I'm just wondering, at what week do they start checking to see if you're dialated and effaced and all that? At 20 weeks my baby was breach, and my Dr. only does ONE ultrasound the entire pregnancy (which is at 20 weeks) so is there a way to kinda FEEL if the baby is still breach or what? Well my best friend was suffering from a mild case of undereye bags and dark lines, and decided to buy some l'oreal eye lift cream. She's 15 and I told her not to use it, but she still did, and it worked for the first 2 days, and then last night, the night before a big concert, she put tons of the stuff on, and woke up to a horrible pair of swollen eyes, her bags were huge, and she looked like she felt terrible. So I want to buy a bag off ebay and I've never bought anything off that site before. The seller only accepts Pay Pal, which I also have never used. I don't have a credit card but I have a check card that I use as a credit card from my bank. Can I just put the info from that card under the credit card info? "Don’t judge others unless you want others to judge you.” Everybody Judges. Spoiled, Snobby, Stuck-up, Conceited, Jock, Prep, Nerd. With a first look at someone you automatically sum them up in one word. Whether you want to be friends with them, not talk to them, or make fun of them. Just because of how they look to you in one second of judgment. Everyone does it. I used to be one of the worst until that one day... I walked out of lunch on a boring, tired Monday morning last year and yawned. “Only 3 more classes...” I thought to myself. Just another day at school. I rolled my eyes at the preppy girl strutting down the hallway looking me straight in the eye. She not-so subtly slammed into my shoulder on her way by. “…Whatever.” I roll my eyes. After I get my Spanish book out of my locker I ran to class and made it just two seconds before the bell rang. I sat down in my normal seat in front of the weird recluse sitting in front of me. I reached into my book bag pocket to take out my phone to check the time... empty. Not panicking yet, I lifted my book bag into my lap and peered inside. You know that feeling you get where your heart stops for a split second when you walk into your first class and realize that the book report assigned a month ago is due today? This was the feeling. I took a deep breath and carefully searched my book bag about thirty times when the tears started welling up. I know it sounds unreasonable. Crying over a phone, but it was the second one I had lost… that month. My dad would kill me if I came home with another missing phone! I signed my agenda and went to every class I have before 5th period, only to get a negative from each teacher. My heart sunk as I went home that day to tell my dad what happened. “Your second phone! How could you have lost it again!? You obviously don’t appreciate anything. Go to your room for the rest of the night.” The next day at school I checked the front office, and of course it wasn’t there. “Things like this always happen to me...” I whined to myself. On my way out I heard someone whisper something about me, and I turned around. Sitting on the front office couch was Lucas who sneered at me after a chuckle. We’ve hated each other since 5th grade when I heard from someone who heard from someone that he was a thief and made him pay for it. I sulked back to class thinking of the misery of forever using a home phone and being the only kid in middle school who didn’t have a cell phone anymore. All the kids who didn’t have phones got made fun of. At lunch I whined to my friends about my missing phone, and buried my head in my hands. “Uh...” I looked up at my friend with a shocked face and there next to her sat, Lucas. “What do you want stealer?” I asked. A look of hurt registered across his face and then went blank. “What are you talking about?” he almost cried. He reached out his balled up fist across the table and stretched open his fingers, there in the middle of his palm lay my phone. “I found it on the floor in the hallway. I just thought you might want it back. I promise I didn’t steal it or anything...” My face got beat red as I realized how ignorant I must sound. I muttered a quick thank you looking down at the floor, but he was already gone. Everybody judges, but that was the day I learned how to do it less, use precautions. It’s not fair to judge someone by what you see or hear about them, it doesn’t give then a fair chance. People are a lot more complex than the one word we use to sum the up at a first look, give everyone a chance to show you what else they can be.
