For anyone who's already replied to other questions about my situation, I'm sorry I keep posting up here but everyone in my town knows my family so going to anyone (other than close friends, like, two of em) is impossible.
On my last message I wrote that my sister and ex boyfriend slept together and I (accidently) walked in on them. I'm a deep sleeper when I eventually do sleep and actually managed to get an hour's worth of sleep last night, though I think it was due to pure exhaustion. When I woke there was a mini cassette tape (like the ones you put in digital recorders) on my bedside table. I thought maybe it was from my flatmate - he plays in a band and they'd wanted me to listen to some music they'd recorded from some stuff I wrote - anyway.
Put the tape into a video tape extender thing (cant rmember the term) and it was of my ex and sis last night.
I don't know what to do with it. I wont watch it again, I dont want to show it to anyone coz the thought makes me feel sick, and I know I can't just throw it away. Anyone, any suggestions? Please?

Hello! I edit movies, and I use Pinnacle Studio, InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2, and Windows movie maker. I also use a Plextor digital video recorder for my videos. When I connect my camera up to the AV connectors (the red, white, and yellow cables) I get onto one of the programs and I click record. I set my camera to play and my computer records what is on my camera.
My problem is when I record I do not get any audio coming out of the video. I see the video but I cannot get the audio to come out. I have tried specifying which sound card to use, but it seems none of them work. But I can listen to music and all easily.
This problem is going on with ALL of my editing programs. It worked at one point but now it does not.
Can someone help me get my audio working when I record my videos on my computer?

audacity doesnt let me get the stereo effects that i have set on my recording. it comes through to the computer as one sound alltogether (yeah its a split L and R cable entering the computer as a single 1/8" jack).

I am a great songwriter, if I must say so myself. :-) I am very lyrical and very melodic. I come up with melodies very easliy and I remember them easily.

I recorded music(acoustic band) on digital stereo recorder(ZOOM H4. actually, this is really good one.It's a little pricy though).
And I think I put too much gain when I record the music. At some points, the sound is kinda broken. especially, upright bass in very low register and vibraphone's high register or strong hitting point. Since it's only a couple of spots, I want to do something with this track and use it for some special occasion. I have Logic Express7 and Cubase(I guess this is demo). Also, I can have chance to use Pro Tools LE(latest version). I tried to put equalizer, denoiser, filters on these tracks but it just changed sound quality. It didn't ERASE those broken sound.
Let me know what programs I need to use to smooth those spots. Also, what option/function I need to use in that program.

one of my friends asked me to put music on her mp3 player for me and forgot to give me the disk. Normaly i would just go in and put it in the root or in a folder that held the music on the root, but this ones different. each song has a folder with the song and song details in it. I read online that this particular model does this, but this was AFTER I bought it. Turns out those same two problems (the green blobs and the sound dropping out) happens to me too. I have an RCA 19" (meausred diagonally) TruFlat TV model from about 3 years ago. This set itself is about almost 2 years old (April 2006). I want to know what causes this - when any kind of bass comes into the sound, whether it be music or sound effects, it drops the higher sounds out, and I then turn up the volume or have to really listen closely or turn back the TV program or DVD to hear what was said. It is very annoying. I'm supposing that hooking a separate stereo system to it would work, because it wouldn't be coming from those same speakers, so voila, there I have it. I also would like some suggestions on a tape recorder or digital recorder (small) that is good for recording myself singing which does not distort on high frequencies or loud frequencies - I sing opera -high and loudly.

My dad has this Rca digital voice recorder and it saves the files as .voc in his my music folder. He wants to drag them to the winamp..... and they will appear there when he does so but they won't play, and when you look at the file in winamp it says its a .exe file. So what can I do to stop it from automatically converting these files to .exe because I know that winamp accepts .voc and should play it ? I know that there is a way to do this without having to download a file converter or any of that bull. Should I move them to some other program or folder first and then maybe winamp will acccept it. I used to use Music Creator 2 to transfer audio from my digital voice recorder to the comp. I just replaced it with Audacity. With MC2 I would arm the track to record and click record on MC2 while pressing play on the recorder. Right now, I hook up the recorder and when I press play on it I can hear everything just fine on the comp's speakers. The trouble I'm having now is this: When I click "record" on Audacity and "play" on the recorder at the same time, it seems to be recording just fine. That is until I stop recording and play it back. It's as if nothing ever recorded. What am I missing?

I have a micro br 4 track digital recorder and want software to mix individual tracks with? I'm using sony sound forge 8 to master at the moment, which is good but i'm not getting what i want out of each individual track. Any help?
