Open Question: What do I need to host my own website? - Mac OS X or Win XP?
I will construct the site myself through microsoft word. I will have 1 or 2 connections a day so I dont have to worry about internet speed.
What I will need is:
A way to have an input form. Example: Have a link to a template that information can be placed on. The option to submit needs to be available so that the template and the information is sent to 7 or 8 people via email.
A Forum or way of posting ideas. I know I can get a free forum account on the internet and post it in via html...I don't think that will be a problem but if I can host it myself that is even better.
My question is: What free software or program can I get that will help me host it or how do I do it. I can run either Windows XP on my pc or I can use my iMac OS 10.5 (PC preferably). I know to enable sharing and what not and the domain name is already bought and paid for (a static ip will do for now, I just need to test it). What program do I need so I can put the word document on the net for people to access etc?

Suddenly a mail from a secure person went to spam, I sent it to mail box. then we had a fight and I blocked it; yes it is silly but is done.
I did unblock the person and all in a sudden all their mail from before has that little key before their name.
They use Rogers but; does that mean they blocked me or what happened?

I am a working professional and working as a Sales Manager in a reputed insurance MNC from over 3 years.
A year ago I bought some domain names(internet website names) as advised by one of my friends, and now few months back I earned some income from domain monetization over the bought domains. The earning was around 4 lacs in the last financial year which was directly received through international wire into my regular savings account paid by international/US based companies. Now the provider is saying the name server has to be propagated with global name server and take time to 4 hrs to 48hrs. The registration and hosting was with Pugmarks Inc.
