we're trying to find another church, my mom wants a more charismatic one. but until then. im so lonely. i want friends. oh and i hate my job.

Open Question: Converting a chapter 13 bankruptcy to a chapter 7?
Ok so heres the thing. My wife and I filed a chapter 13 bankruptcy back in may. Included in it were our mobile home, our car, and some bedroom furniture. That was only thing that was secured debt that we kept. Well since then the car is falling apart, so we're going to have to get another car anyway, and we're doing owner financing for another mobile home and land package for the same price were paying now for the trailer and lot rent. So we'd come out better by getting rid of the bankruptcy altogether however we still had a lot of unsecured debt on there that I'm really not into to getting harassed about, so the other option would be to convert the case to a chapter 7. We're going to have bought the house by the time we could do this(early next month). My questions are these. If we converted to a chapter 7 they wouldn't seize the property we just bought would they?, and I know I wasn't supposed to be "obtaining credit" under the current chapter 13 plan, which I don't care because we're either just going to let it get dismissed for non payment or convert it, but even if they find out I obtained credit after the fact would they try to seize the property, and if so what could be done in that situation? and lastly if we just let the case get dismissed would I still have to pay the lawyer fees and if we converted could they be included in the chapter 7?
I'm doing owner financing on the new residence, and they've already agreed we're just waiting on the current residents to move out for us to move in, and they won't be reporting to credit bureaus so I don't know how the court would find out but the bankruptcy is going to be dismissed or converted to a chapter 7 anyway so under either of those situations I wouldn't be under their protection anymore so I could obtain credit, I'm just asking if they could seize the property I'm about to buy after the case is dismissed if they found out I bought it while the case was still active.
Also one other thing, if I the case gets dismissed what would happen with all the lawyer fees?

I am looking for some ideas....
I am about to start studying Naturopathy through a private college called Australiasian College of Natural Therapies. Because its private and not covered by HECS/HELP I need to pay the fees upfront. (Im doing it this way because I cant study fulltime by distance education - otherwise I would just go to a normal uni) The course fees per year is $10,500 but if I can pay 1 year worth of course fees I get a 15% discount and for half a year is a 10% discount. Which means over the 3 years I will be studying I will be saving around $9000!! Which is lots!
The thing is I dont have a lump sum to pay. I am capable of paying for the course but just not a lump sum. I am an adult and cant just run to my parents or anyone and dont wish to. I also dont want anyone else to go garantor for me. I work and have a regular income.
Does anyone have any REAL ideas for a finance company? Especially one with a 12 month interest free period etc? I would love to know all ur ideas because Im sick of trying to work it out on my own

If yes please let me know what company you went thru. Also, is it at all better if i did one thru a novated lease?

I have realized that one of the most important points, it has been the influence that she has had on me in what concerns hospitals, she always wanted that I saw positive as negative aspects , she did not bring up me with a thought of perfect world, when she had the opportunity, she used to take me to hospitals where she was working, She was telling me the life of the patients, the motive of being hospitalized and much more.
It was very sad, to see especially, homeless children , children with serious diseases and without resources to finance operations, you really does not feel it until you see it.
I remember that she used to bring children of the ladies of the market to home, she was bathing them and was dressing them in clothes that already we did not wear.
despite we were not in a good economic situation, so It was a meaningful gesture from her

I bought a new car by way of financing. While getting the loan, I had agreed to about 6000 dollars worth of extras ( Lojack and extended warranty ). The monthly payments were calculated based on that total figure. I realised three days later, I didnt need the extra stuff and asked them to rework the math. They said that the loan has already been taken, but since I havent allowed any of the extras to be installed in my car and I also cancelled the extended warranty, I will be fine once I finish paying off the amount which I owe them. Even though the loan amount remains the same.
My concern is that, as of right now , I am paying interest for things I dont need, but thats allright, do you think they will make me pay for something on my loan for things I never purchased or had installed in my car. I have the paper stating that I have cancelled the extended warranty. Is this a normal error ?
My loan is for 16,000 dollars , but effectively I only owe them 10,000. So once I am done paying off the 10K, they will allow me to have the title in my name, as per what the finance manager said.(inspite of me making payments on my 16,000 amount every month ).

Open Question: Nervous about asking bank for business financing for a new liquor store. Need 100K and have $15,000.?
Have been planning every single detail of a liquor store for 3 months and I am finally getting to the point to where I ask a bank for a 100K loan. I have $15,000-$20,000 of equity in my house. Have business plan, experience with liquor (3 years as liquor manager), perfect location, name and logo, and cheapest/best vendors to buy pens to registers to 8 door walk in cooler (checked over 5 vendors for everything). Don't like to be embarrassed or to look like an idiot if I have not a chance in hell to get the money. What should I do to make my chances better? Anything will be helpful
Open Question: Are companies that offer to pay cash for houses safe?
We've been trying to sell our house through a realtor for over nine months but the few number of bites we've had either couldn't get the financing, or they are having trouble selling theit own house. My husband has already relocated to his new job and being a single parent, trying to keep the house in show condition is starting to get old!! I have seen a lot of internet ads for companies saying they pay cash for houses and closr in nine days. I realize we'll probably have to sell at a loss but how much of a loss, and are these companies safe?
Open Question: rent assistance Help needed urgently to small business man?
Can someone help me out as i am in dire straits with finances.
Being a new small business there is no financial help from banks etc for the first 2 years and cash flow is minimal.
Is anyone able to inject me some finance options or perhaps direct me to a business partner. My business is in a niche market but urgently needs some contribution from outside and in return i can pay my rent arrears.
This is not a hoax but more like a opportunity for some one to help out a genuine cause.
Open Question: Please read....Bought a used car in Indiana today...Can I get out of used car agreement?
After I signed the agreement(which came with a 3 month/3000 mile warranty) to have repairs done by their service dept. I saw the check engine light was on. The used car salesman told me it is probably just a loose gas cap and that is common. I took it to their service center and the guy got the light off and I drove away....5 miles down the road though the light came back on. So I drove back over there and that is when they said they will order a new intake valve gasket cover. Then I get on the expressway and the car kind of jerks forward when I am driving like it is getting small squirks of extra gas. In addition, at the signing I pointed out to the guy that the odometer reading paper that he made me sign was wrong. I realize now that was dumb because he printed out a new one that I did sign although on the Bill of Sale he just crossed it off and wrote next to it the right mileage. I have a strange feeling I was sold a bad vehicle that came from Minnesota....Any thoughts how to get out of agreement...I bought this car with no money down and have it financed through a bank. Tomorrow I am taking it to an independent auto mechanic...What should I do??????
Open Question: Is it a waste of time to plead for your marriage?
My husband wants to divorce me. We've had a tough marriage due to ex wife, kids, lack of dates and finances. He's had enough and filed for a divorce. Now I find myself pleading. He breaks down and tells me he's so confused. If he's certain he should go through with it but he tells me a small part of him isn't sure. I don't want to loose him but I'm really feeling like he is gone now. Should I just stop pleading. I've admitted my faults and apologized for them. Nothing seems to reach him. I'm I wasting my time.
Open Question: Having a difficult time dealing with this...?
One of my daughters went to prison for theft. When she was doing her thieving thing she lived with my mother (against my wishes) and she even stole things from her. She went to prison, did her time, and swears that "she's changed", but the reality of it is that she hasn't changed a bit.
When she got out of prison she settled in a different area and appeared to be doing quite well. She recently moved back to this area just up and quit her job and came here with nothing, no job, no place to stay, nothing. We gave her the same option that we gave her sisters, THEY can stay but not their boyfriends. The reason for that is 1) I have a 12 year old at home that deserves to be raised in the same environment as they were, and 2) I am disabled and my husband has been out of work since the end of June so we are surviving on unemployment until he returns to work in a few weeks. These options were accepted by the other two that wanted/needed to move back home but the one that spent time in prison decided it wasn't ok for her. I told my daughter when she decided that she would rather live on the street then allow her bf to move back in with his family that I did NOT want her to even think about moving back in with grandma. And its for several reasons, none of which had any reflection on her past actions when she stayed there before. My mother has been ill for 4 months and I have been taking care of her (I have siblings but mom's care wouldn't fit into their busy schedules) and we have been helping her out financially as much as we could because she hasn't been able to work thru this illness nor is she eligible for SS or anything else.
We even discussed the situation with my mother, we explained to her that the girls always have a place to stay but we can't afford to take in strays, especially not at this point in time. My mother swore to me that she would not allow my daughter to stay there, they didn't have the room, the finances to support them and she just couldn't/wouldn't do it.
That lasted about until my daughter went there doing her fake crying routine (that everyone is more then use to) when my mother told her that they could stay there.
This not only makes me angry but it is extremely hurtful. It's like a slap in the face, why don't she just call CPS and tell them I'm a horrible mother?!! I'm completely devasted by this and I'm having a difficult time even calling my mom much less checking on her everyday. I know she didn't let them stay there because she is lonely or anything like that because I have a sister that lives at home still (my daughter is 25 yo btw) who is SUPPOSE to be a psychologist. How can she NOT see that by doing this (along with other things such as giving them money and such) that they are enabling not just my daughter but her bf as well?? Neither of them are working nor are they trying to get a job, why should they when they have everything their little hearts desire right there at grandma's.
I would NEVER intentionally go against another parents wishes unless it put the child in danger and I'm having a really hard time understanding and accepting this. My mother still has dr appts that she needs to go to (and NO, my daughter will NOT take her to those that would be too much trouble) and medical tests that need to be done but I just can't bring myself to take her. I'm torn here, I love my mother but I can't even talk to her right now.
Am I over reacting? Should I just accept this and move on? How is my daughter suppose to learn to support herself if she doesn't have to? This is the same thing that happened before and look what happened she ended up in prison for pete's sake. Why can't they see that this is NOT a good situation?
Everyday since my daughter was arrested I have heard about all the things that she did to my mother when she lived there before (all of her windows got busted out by some of my daughters "friends", my mom's jewelry was stolen and pawned (one of the items was a locket that my father had given my mother when they were first dating. It was the one thing that my mother cherished especially since my father had passed away shortly before all this happened), she stole my mom's medications to sell or use I'm not sure which, just every thing that happened during her stay there previously I have been hearing about every single day by every one of my siblings and I was AGAINST her staying there to begin with just like now).
Any sincere input in this would be greatly appreciated. Because I certainly do not have a clue how to deal with this at all.
