  • Open Question: Ladies what do you think?
So my girl and I live about an hour away. And with school starting and strict limits on times when she has to get off the phone it makes it hard. We both love each other very much but can only see each other every other weekend. Anyway the first gift I gave her was this cheapy little necklace from american eagle that she loved but faded. Her birthday is coming up and I figure I want to go out on this gift. I'm going to buy her a nice new necklace from Zales that wont fade or wear so easily. And behind the necklace in the box I'm going to stuff a 200 page moleskin notebook with 100 reason and drawings of why I love her with a note on the inside cover to take a look at this book whenever times get tough for us. What do you think of this necklace and the idea?http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2164864

  • Open Question: My (formerly) intellectually gifted child.?
My (formerly) intellectually gifted child.?nurtured. He was just treated like a normal kid, found school very boring, and now doesn't give any effort because of the fact that it is easy or interesting to him. He's not motivated, whatsoever. Things brings me to my question: Is it too late for his brain to blossom? I mean, I have read different things, but MOST say that the brain is done growing by age 16. Did his talents go wasted? Or can he still learn and expand his mind, to prosperity? Thanks and best,

  • Open Question: Why do we sleep? What is sleep for?
For many of us, sleep is a precious gift (especially me)! Sleep must be important because all animals do it. Why do we sleep, and just what constitutes sleep anyway? Is sleep just a way to impose a quiet and immobile state? Sleep must serve some essential function as it cannot be eliminated. Genetic insomnia has been known to kill animals, insects, and even humans. Sleep could give the brain a rest to regroup after a hard day since we use 80% of its energy in order to keep the synaptic activity happening. Sleep may also allow for the consolidation of new memories, & the thrashing of older, random, & unimportant memories from the day passed. Some say we sleep so the body can repair itself. Have you developed a method of sleeping?

  • Open Question: I need some info on copyrighted images.?
I don't really know how copyrights work so I hope someone can help me with this. I want to get a shirt custom made with the image of Marvin the Martian, but the website won't make it for me because I don't have the rights to the image. Would it be at all possible for me to get a license from loony toons that lets me use this image for this one purpose? Like I said, I don't know how copyrights work so I'm sorry if this was a dumb question. It's just really important to me that I get this shirt made how I want because it's a very special gift for someone and it means a lot. Thanks to anyone who can give me any info at all.
  • Open Question: Make amends, or let it go?
Around Christmas time, my older sister and I had a falling out. I sent an email to the family expressing my frustration at how no one was offering to host Christmas. Even though I have the smallest house, and was 6 months pregnant at the time. I was pretty angry, but I felt I had a right to say how I felt. My mom agreed and offered to help in any way she could. My sister however, went ballistic. She felt I was "attacking" her and told me that she would not be coming to any Christmas get-together. I apologized if what I said made her upset, but I would not apologize for saying how I felt. She said that she didn't want to talk to me until the holidays had passed, and not via email. She sent my kids' gifts through the mail. I tried several times to talk via email because she is a very hard person to talk to in person or over the phone. Being pregnant at the time, I didn't want to get too upset and get stressed out and stress out the baby. I kept asking her to talk via email so I could have time to sit and read her thoughts and feelings without jumping to conclusions and getting mad and saying things I didn't mean. She just couldn't understand this. She insisted on speaking and kept saying "we need to talk in a 'healthy' way". I kept trying to email her and apologize and she started blocking my emails. I invited her to my baby shower...she didn't come. My baby was born, and she never called. She has sent my kids b-day gifts, etc., but will not email me or anything. I haven't been able to see my neices and nephew for a long time. I miss them. I feel the reason she wants to "talk" is to basically verbally scold me for saying how I felt. I honestly wish we could just sweep the whole thing under the rug, but she just can't let it go. I just don't know where to go from here. My baby is 5 months old, and we have still not spoken. Should I call her and let her "rip me a new one" like I think she wants, or should I continue playing the silent game? I hate playing games, and I don't know why she just won't accept the 3 apologies that I have already given. Please help?
  • Open Question: Can anyone think of a good gift for...?
A pregnant lady around 25 years old I'm guessing. I don't know her that well but she's really nice and did me a very big favour and just want to give her a thankyou gift. She wrote me a note and without it I would've failed my preliminary year in Modern History. I sort of want to spend around $20. Can you think of anything? My sister also helped me a lot but I think I can find her a nice top or something.
  • Open Question: What would you think of this?
If you had a friend who says she is pregnant but will not stop smoking, doesnt want anyone to give her a shower and will not go register anywhere - would you think she was lying? I know the smoking part is a personal preference but with your first child wouldnt you want a shower, gifts etc? Her husband has finished the nursery - she did not do anything - he picked colors etc. She says she is due in two weeks but there is no "baby bump" etc. What would you make of this? It was not a planned pregnancy
  • Open Question: Read please, and tell me what you think??
I kno it has its issies but i would be very happy if you would please read this and give me your opinion. much appreciated. Elita trudged through the city streets miserably. She had lost her job, her home, and her dog all within the past twenty-four hours, and even though she tried to remember, she couldn‘t figure out why she had even crawled her way into work this morning to begin with. Thinking back, she probably would have chose against it had she known that today was the day she was going to give her boss his fill, and ultimately loose her job for her incompetence. The loosing of her home was a different story. For weeks she had been telling herself that she would eventually scrape up enough money to pay those high, menacing towers of bills that sat on her kitchen counter; they served as her constant reminders of the hole she had dug herself into since moving to Chicago. Sadly, shortly after being evicted from her dusty apartment, she had lost her only companion for the past two years, her dog Russ. Rain poured from the lightning streaked sky over head, and soaked her to the bone. She wanted desperately to go home and change into warm clothes, but a quick thought reminded her that she, in fact, no longer had a so called “home”. Elita looked up and down the empty street trying to remember where she had parked her red 1991 Chevy Cavalier. After a few minutes, she gave up, and sat on a park bench. Curling her legs up to her chest, she buried her face into her knees and cried, her tangled brown hair falling in a cascade over her shoulders. Her world was crashing around her making everything unbearable. She didn’t know where to go from here. A friends house was out of the question since she hadn’t gotten around to making friends in Chicago yet; work was much more important to her. Local homeless shelters were out of the question as well, for her pride would not allow her to even admit that she was now, by her own standards, homeless. *** Keagan sat in the darkest corner of his favorite bar, The Loft, swishing around the liquid gold in his shot glass of whiskey. His mind was littered with thoughts that he wanted so badly to burn away, but he couldn’t bring himself to take a sip of his usual numbing medicine. Had it really been fifty years since his transformation? It seemed like only yesterday when the accident occurred and the Dark Gift was forced upon him, but maybe that was just a side effect of his new, unfailing and all too accurate memory. He saw it all clearly, and felt the centuries old pain again, but it was only momentary. He saw his makers face, bright and lustrous in the moonlight as she looked at his mangled body on the ground. Her eyes had a strange desire in their depths as she stared at Keagan. “Poor thing.” she muttered. She cradled Keagan’s head in her lap and placed her ear to his chest. The normally loud thud-thud of all human hearts was slowly being dulled. The woman knew what she had to do. She lowered her head down to Keagan’s neck. “Stay still. This will hurt at first, but not for long” As she sank her fangs into his soft skin, Keagan gasped for a moment, but soon went still. The sudden wave of realization flooded over him as he realized what this beautiful stranger was. A vampire. He felt his already struggling heart began to weaken even more. His vision was fading, and his weakness was growing more and more prominent. Lifting her head from his neck, the woman put her own wrist up to her fangs and slid them across her skin, leaving a bright red line of blood dribbling from the gash. “Drink if you wish to live.” she said while pressing her wrist to his lips. Keagan was hesitant. Should he drink a strangers blood? Let alone, any blood at all? Was his life really that important to him? She pressed her wrist against his lips again, more fervent this time. “You are going to die anyway, Keagan. At least this way, you can live in the end.” A snap decision made him do what he knew he wanted her to. Pressing his lips to her open wound, Keagan hesitantly drew her blood into his mouth. The taste didn’t repulse him, surprisingly. In fact, it did quiet the opposite. He swallowed gulp after gulp of her blood until she had to forcibly remove his grip from her arm, and pull her wrist from his lips. “That’s quiet enough.” A quick flick of her tongue over the gash made it seal itself. She laid Keagan’s head back on the ground slowly, and stood to look at the wreckage. A few yards away was a truck plowed head first into a tree off to the side of the road. There was no doubt that it was totaled. “You really almost did yourself in, Keagan. Had I not been near by, your final moments on this God forsaken eart it didnt copy all of it, srri, thats all you get to read i guess. Yea, i realize vampires are overdone but i never tire of them and i have alwayz wanted to write my own vampire story.

  • Open Question: my boyfriend is a cheap-skate...are all men like this or is it just mine? Should I dump him???
Ok here's the deal. We've been together a year and a half. For our first vanentine's day, he cancelled or date because it was snowing and he didn't feel like being out in the cold. He said he'd take me out the next day but didnt get around to it until a week later. So for our 1st valentines I ended up hanging out with another friend. For his birthday I bought him a nice mens cologn set. For my birthday we went to Hershey Park, PA. I helped pay for the trip so I thought that it was just something fun to do for my birthday. Upon our return he said the trip was my present (I didnt get a gift). How could the trip be my present when I helped pay for the trip???? For our second valentine's together, I know he has a 'sweet tooth' so I bought him some really nice chocolate from this gourmet chocolate shop close to where I work. It was nicely wrapped and put in a gift bag...everything done at the chocolate shop. Then I made a card with a nice poem I wrote myself. When I presented him with his gift he got mad at me because he got me nothing so after I got pissed he dashed out of the house to go buy me flowers and cheap chocolate from the corner store. What's the point if you give someone a gift after the fact...he didnt plan to give me a gift so why bother? Then last month my birthday rolled around again. And once again we went to Hershey Park. (I actually like amusement parks so we wanted to check out the new rides). Once again I helped pay for the trip because I thought BF would have learned his lesson from last year. Low and behold when we got back he had the nerve to tell me the trip was my birthday gift. At this point I thought he was kidding, but the guy was serious. Then a few days ago he had the nerve to ask me what I'm getting him for his birthday in October? I told him nothing since I always get him stuff and never gets me anything. We live together, I cook, I clean, I do everything and the least he could do is show some appreciation. He doesn't cheat. He hugs me and kisses me all the time and tells me he loves me but his words say one thing then his actions confuse me. Are all men like this and should I just learn to live with it and let it go or is he a cheap-skate who is undeserving of everything I do for him who needs to be kicked to the curb??? Please help because quite frankly I am starting to wonder if this is the right guy for me! I know its the thought that counts and I'm not trying to be picky. I do make more money than him but I am always an after thought when it comes to special occasions. Its just a bummer!

  • Open Question: If you give a gift to an inmate who then uses it to break out of prison, can you be charged with a crime?
I've always wondered if a gift you innocently give to a loved one in prison ends up being used by them to escape, can you be charged with aiding and abetting their escape? It seems unfair, but I could see the law coming down on someone in this case.

Do you think this is wrong, it was my birthday gift, and she said she would get it for me. regardless of what I do, don't you think that she is obligated to give it to me. And I haven't honestly been acting that bad, I never sneak out, never get detentions or suspended. I respect all my teachers, because they give me reasons to respect them. I treat everyone as well as I can, and I do admit that I can be a bit of a drama queen at times, but not enough to have this taken from me. Do you think this is right? oh and I blew out 15 candles a month ago (aka I am 15 years old) Okay few things I have a job but it is all going to my college fund. and it was my BIRTHDAY PRESENT, she even took to me the store and told me to tell her which one I wanted, and then we left, empty handed Okay few things I have a job but it is all going to my college fund. and it was my BIRTHDAY PRESENT, she even took to me the store and told me to tell her which one I wanted, and then we left, empty handed Okay few things I have a job but it is all going to my college fund. and it was my BIRTHDAY PRESENT, she even took to me the store and told me to tell her which one I wanted, and then we left, empty handed I didnt call her the b-word, she called me the b-word and a c-word

I've known this girl since uni and since we graduated we've hung out a few times (cinema ect) She even insisted on paying when we went to pizza hut and brought me a nice new case for my camera (with her staff discount). I kinda like this girl but I'm not after a serious relationship & I dont really know how she feels about me either so I'm not sure whether I should buy her a birthday present, nothing expensive but something I know she'd like. And it would also give me an excuse to text her to meet up. Do you think this is a good idea? I am a bit hesitant because I dont want her to think I'm trying to buy her attention if that makes sense.
  • Open Question: Please help me with my wedding! I'm desperate!?
i want a destination wedding more than anything. it's what i've always wanted. i heard it was cheaper than a traditional wedding (not the reason i'm having one, it's just a plus). when i finally find a decently priced package, the airfare is over $1,000! plus since my parents are giving us money as our gift to plan our wedding with, i felt that we should pay their way as well. does anyone have any tips, comments, suggestions. it would be greatly appreciated! i'm concerned about my budget b/c when i return from my honeymoon, i'm having a large reception with all our friends and family.

  • Open Question: How do you feel about homemade gifts? ?
I am never very into them unless it's something amazing like a handmade blanket or hand needle pointed table cloth. I hate receiving crafty things like scarves that never get worn or crafty jewelry... I am an artist so I guess I am a bit snotty about those things. I also hate crafty stuff- like someone made little fabric pouches and filled them with hot chocolate and tied them with ribbon. I thought that was highly gross since I know how fabric is made and treated with chemicals. I know it's the thought that counts but I feel guilty not liking it, I don't want the stuff and then I give it to good will and feel even more guilty. How about you? Love it or hate it? I am not complaining- just asking people what they think. I am not complaining- just asking people what they think. The point is they don't take a long time to make- people slap them together and then your suppose to be like Oh, it's so meaningful- when it's not. It was cheap and easy and that's why they did it.

  • Open Question: The gift of a BABY?? real story!!!?
Sis-ters. Sis-ters! There were never such devoted sis-ters ... " Rachel Schwartz and Deb Brenner giggle as they try to recall the rest of the Rosemary Clooney tune their grandmother sang whenever the two sisters bickered over Barbies and baby dolls in their suburban Philadelphia home. "She would tell us, 'Girls! Don't you know how lucky you are?,'" recalls Rachel, 36. "'Your sister is your best friend.'" The lesson holds true today, after a journey full of both anguish and exhilaration, one that would lead to two babies for Rachel, born five months apart. Children of a schoolteacher mom and college professor dad, Rachel, the more bubbly, outgoing older sister, and Deb, the quieter, emotional one 2 1/2 years younger, shared everything—clothes, moods and even, when Deb needed comforting, the same twin bed. They also shared a dream: children of their own. "We played Mommies," says Deb, now 34. "It was all we ever wanted to be." For Rachel, that dream all but died in September 1999, when a doctor told her the lump in her groin was a soft tissue sarcoma. Cancer. Rachel was 28 and single, and was warned she might never conceive or carry a baby. Two dozen radiation treatments destroyed her right ovary, and several surgeries left her with severe lymphedema (chronic swelling that can lead to dangerous blood clots) in her right leg. Deb—by then 25 and a newlywed teaching kindergarten—punted husband Randy to the guest room after each of Rachel's four surgeries and cared for her sister, with all her tubes and drains, in their bed. She brought macaroni and cheese, cuddled through favorite TV shows and whispered an important promise: "You know I will always carry a baby for you if you can't." It proved a tough promise to keep. Deb's body did not ovulate naturally. She conceived her son Lenny, now 6, after 14 months of fertility treatments. Daughter Kailey, now 3, was born after in vitro fertilization. "It's emotionally exhausting," says Deb. "All those pills and procedures." At Kailey's birth, Rachel cut the umbilical cord. "I wanted her to be part of something so special," says Deb. But in the delivery room, Rachel "looked at Kailey with that look, like, 'Will I ever have my own baby?'" Rachel was ready. She had met Danny Schwartz, a family physician, on a blind date. "The way she looked, the way she was speaking, I thought to myself, 'I would love this woman to be the mother of my kids,'" says Schwartz, 38. They married 19 months later, settled into a house minutes from Deb's place in their childhood neighborhood of Lafayette Hill, Pa., and Rachel tried to get pregnant knowing, as Danny put it, the radiation had essentially left her with the reproductive system of "a 50-year-old woman entering menopause." On Valentine's Day 2005 Rachel's doctor said that her levels of the FSH hormone, which helps encourage the growth of a woman's eggs, were dismal and advised her to consider an egg donor. "That's when the real depression hit," says the sisters' mom, Maris Delano, 65. "But there was determination." Rachel hit the books (Rachel and her doctor swear by Inconceivable and The Infertility Cure) and the Internet (fertileHOPE.org), looking to improve her FSH level. She became a fanatic about organic foods, wheat germ, acupuncture, herbs and yoga. Still, her fertility specialist Dr. Frances Batzer ruled out IVF, saying Rachel's lymphedema and radiation damage to her uterus made a pregnancy too dangerous. Deb stepped forward for surrogacy duty—just eight weeks after delivering her own daughter Kailey. Both women spent months taking hormone shots—Rachel to produce eggs to be fertilized by Danny's sperm, Deb to prepare her body for the embryo. On Feb. 23, 2006, a catheter delivered three embryos into Deb's womb. "Finally we had a chance at a baby," says Rachel. Doctors eventually heard two heartbeats. Only one fetus survived the first trimester, however. And so Rachel lectured Deb to get enough rest and eat right, as she was doing herself. At the five-month mark in Deb's surrogate pregnancy, something unexpected happened: Rachel became pregnant, in defiance of everything her doctors had predicted. "All I can say is that God was smiling on her," says Dr. Batzer. On Nov. 10, 2006, at her four-month mark, Rachel was in the delivery room watching her sister about to give birth to Emma, the child conceived with Rachel's eggs. "The doctor said, 'You made this baby, go pull her out,'" Rachel remembers. "I felt like I had won the lottery—twice." Rachel gave birth to Jake five months later with no complications. Son and daughter are both the apples of their mother's eye. "I don't feel any different about them," says Rachel. "They are both of my body." Strangers often ask if the babies are twins. "Yeah," says Rachel, "our own unique version." These days she sings "The Noble Duke of York" to them, as her mother sang it to her and Deb. Last November, on Emma's first birthday, Rachel and her husband sent What do you think of this??
  • Open Question: What is it about Obama that make people want to vote for him?
Why does Obama's supporters claim he is ready to lead the country? What has he done to back up this statement? Here is his claim to fame from his voting record. One of Barack Obama’s only legislative accomplishments in the U.S. Senate is the Legislative Transparency and Accountability Act, which passed in September 2007. When he announced his candidacy in Springfield, Ill., Obama called the bill “the most sweeping ethics reform since Watergate.” Critics from left and right, however, have called it a chilling threat to free speech. This is something to boast about? Obama’s ethics bill sounds good on paper: “strict bans on receiving gifts and meals from lobbyists; new rules to slow the revolving door between public and private sector service.” But once this lofty rhetoric hits reality, it crumbles. Just as Obama can’t define a “windfall profit,” defining “gifts” and “meals” also proves difficult. The First Amendment protects “the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” That’s what lobbying is. Under Obama’s ethics law, groups sponsoring events here in Denver have to consult a lawyer at every step. The New York Times reports: Depending on the circumstances, breakfasts are limited to bagels, rolls and croissants, while proteins like eggs are prohibited. What is more, rules differ for events that are deemed to be “widely attended” — something that has more than 25 diverse attendees but is not a ballgame or a concert. “People are trying to organize parties around conflicting and inscrutable rules,” said Jan Baran, a campaign finance expert at Wiley Rein, a Washington law firm. “It drives the lawyers crazy to give advice. We are having to decide if a group is a cover band, a string quartet or a name band.” So, for example, if farmers from Minnesota want to throw a party for lawmakers, and they serve steak and cheese quesadillas and have the band Styx provide entertainment, then any lawmaker who attends is violating the new ethics law. But if the Minnesota farmers serve only cheese quesadillas and a Styx cover band provides entertainment, Washington has been saved from corruption. Even Democrats who voted for the legislation recognize how silly the law is. Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) told The Hill, “the whole thing is ridiculous,” the result is a “hodgepodge of inconsistency” that has created “artificial restrictions which are arbitrary.” These words ought to be remembered when we consider other liberal priorities: allowing Congress to both compete in the health care market while also setting its rules and creating a “market” for carbon out of thin air. Denver is awash in special-interest money this week. The Denver Post reports that Obama’s big-money donors are being offered premier seats to his acceptance speech at Invesco Field. Top fundraisers for the “Obama Victory Fund” were offered club-level seats through the end of Monday for $1,000 apiece. … The Obama campaign and its partners at the Democratic National Convention Committee have 8,300 club-level seats. If all were purchased, it could mean a cash infusion of $8.3 million. Kind of reminds you of the book "1984". We are all equal, but some are more equal than others. As far as endig tax cuts for the super rich, as 1 answer stated...do we not live in a Capitalistic society? If "big business" is prompted to pay more in taxes, who do you think will pay this? Do you honestly think that these business, mainly oil companies, will pay this tax out of their profits, or do you think they will pass the burden onto those who are buying the gas? So, please, you do need to go on...
  • Open Question: Do you find my culture's wedding customs sexist?
The wedding goes on for 4 days and it is common that the bride carries 4 different wedding dresses (all white). The bride must be a virgin and it is common to check it before the husband can enter the room and deflower her. The family usually hires a midwife or nurse to check on the bride but the mother or grandmother do it in some poor families. As for the wedding........ The relatives prepare the bride. They wash her, shave her, dye her hair and put on make up. It is common for the groom to give the bride a hinna (wedding gift) after she has lost her virignity. It usually includes clothes, jewelery, make-up and (sometimes) underwear. Arranged marriages and love marriages are both common. Since virginity is important the guy must ask the girl's parents if he can take her out for dates and it is "socially forbidden" to go any further than kissing and hugging..... Do you find it sexist?

  • Open Question: Sweet sixteen, what should I ask for! (Reposted, with details and explanations)?
My birthday is really soon and I don't know what I want. I'm going to see Carrie Underwood as part of my present from my mom, but what else should I ask for.....? And then my sister was going to pay for me to go to new york & see another broadway play, but I don't want that this year cause thats what I got last year. I'm thinking I might ask for another Tiffany necklace or maybe Tiffany earings and a Coach purse. But I already have a few coach purses... I might be getting a car from my dad, I don't really know though! Give me some good ideas! Nothing that I already have like cell phone, ipod, digital camera, or laptop! Well last time I deleted this question because of the mean responses, I'm not rich. And I don't have life easy. My parents could care less about me. The only thing they've ever done for me was buy me everything I wanted. It keeps me out of their way and they don't have to deal with me. Trust me I would much rather have family that loves or even likes me for that matter, but I don't so this is all I have. Material things don't replace love, but my divorced parents seem to think so. They are so caught up in their lives to even notice I'm not okay. I'm bulimic and I cut so please everybody shut up about how easy my life must be. Gift ideas only please! Leave all rude comments to yourself. Woah jennie. I never said my life was harder then yours, although I do think it compares.
  • Open Question: If you had two groups of people one all atheists the other all the Christians, who would prosper?
The secular group is made up of people who are not sure why they exist at all. The secular group is made up of matter that cannot explain why it is able to think at all. In the secular account, "You are the descendant of a tiny cell of primordial protoplasm washed up on an empty beach three and a half billion years ago. You are the blind and arbitrary product of time, chance, and natural forces. You are a mere grab-bag of atomic particles, a conglomeration of genetic substance. You exist on a tiny planet in a minute solar system in an empty corner of a meaningless universe. You are a purely biological entity, different only in degree but not in kind from a microbe, virus, or amoeba. You have no essence beyond your body, and at death you will cease to exist entirely. In short, you came from nothing and are going nowhere?' The Christian is made up of people who have an animating sense of purpose. The Christian group is composed of individuals who view their every thought and action as consequential. In the Christian view, "You are the special creation of a good and all-powerful God. You are created in His image, with capacities to think, feel, and worship that set you above all other life forms. You differ from the animals not simply in degree but in kind. Not only is your kind unique, but you are unique among your kind. Your Creator loves you so much and so intensely desires your companionship and affection that He has a perfect plan for your life. In addition, God gave the life of His only son that you might spend eternity with Him. If you are willing to accept the gift of salvation, you can become a child of God:'

  • Open Question: Whats wrong with me...?
Hi, I have been married for 9 months now. I lived in a very exciting city in an awesome country. I had a great life. I met my husband when he came to visit his family in that country and we fell in love...straight away...a year after we got married. Initially I wanted him to move to my country as it was my comfort zone and I had a lot of friends. However, things didn't work and I had to move to the States where my husband lives. My husband used to be addicted to dating when he was single...he ended becoming frenz with most of the women he met as dates. To be clear, I think around 99% of my husband friends are girls. We did few months of long distance after marriage as I needed time to wrap things in my country and also the visa stuff does take a bit of time. In that time..my husband moved to a new city for work related project. He didn't know anyone there...so he started going to pubs by himself and dancing with random strangers. Thats ok with me...but then he also exchanged numbers and photos (with girls)...which I don't understand...why??? Recently I found out that while I was away, my husband was involved with web sex...I was really mad at him when I came to know of this...but he was sorry...and I had no other choice other than forgive him. My husband met two girls (while I was away) whom he says are his friends now. One of them is a 40 yr old divorced women who met my husband though one of the roommate sites as both of them were looking for flatmates. They know each other for a month now. In that period, my husband met her few times. He even gave her a b'day gift while knowing her for 2 weeks (mind you...he didn't go to the party so giving a gift specially was unnecessary). I have met her but I don't like her...esp..when my huband tells me how much conversation the two of them shared. The other women he met is quite attractive. They met through a community website. She isn't single...but...they way they met makes me not like her too. I have fought heaps with my husband. He says to me is that he will never leave me and that he loves me...but I don't know why...I have trust issues with him. What should I do? Am I very possessive/controlling? My husband wants to be frenz with the two chics...I don't know what to do? Should I let him be? I want some balance by having guys in the frenz circle too...but with him i seems impossible...he doesnot have any guy frenz and I don't know anyone in this country... I miss my old life...I am feeling quite low at the moment.
