although this type of sweet consideration is not out of character for him (he's constantly trying to spoil me with little things: writes me love notes to find when I wake up, calls home from work almost everyday to say I love you, e-mails me from work, sings me to sleep when I can't otherwise pass-out, goes out to check the mail but then comes back with whatever food I've been craving, basically he's a real sweetheart), though I still was not expecting him to suprise me with a nice maternity party outfit!
the only reason I know is because he accidently book-marked the item's receipt to the wrong folder and I found it when I was doing my school work (I take online college courses)
so here's the big question:
should I tell him that I know about his thoughtful suprise and thank him full heartedly when he gets home from work?
Or should I play dumb and try and act suprised when he gives me clothes?
I know it sounds silly, but as much as I dread going shopping for new clothes, doing it for me is the best gift he could possibly give and I'm just so excited for when it gets here!!

I hope that you are indeed an expert b/ci need an answer to a problem i have, well at least i think its one. first off i am 19 years old, i have had a history off depression but its been very much under wraps for the past 3 1/2 years. however this past year i have been shopping online. and it hasnt been until this past few months has it been taking a toll on my bank account. i have been just shopping for things i want , just to say i have them. i feel as if i can have whatever i want. even if i dont have the money i always find a way. i have 2 credit cards that are maxed out. but the thing is, is it an addiction when i buy small things like things under 200 dollars? does it have to be big things or buying in general? cuz online i will buy maybe 2 things and it will be like 100 bucks when i get paid. its bad cuz sometimes i juggle my bills nd pay late cuz i want something. i bounce checks to go shopping, i lend money when i shoulndt, i foot bills when i shouldnt, i buy gifts to win ppl over, i do it all.and i know i shouldnt, but part of me thinks its not a big deal cuz its not mayjor debt, its not thousands of dollars. i just cant seem to keep money. i dnt have money no longer than 3 days after i get paid. its all gone. when i do order online i always make sure im home and able to get the mail cuz i know imma get in trouble for this. b/c the thing is, i dont havevery much money and my family (mom, sister and brother) doesnt either. i just cant seem to stop.

I took a phone contract out on the 19th may 2008, nokia 6500 slide black on orange.
The phone wasn't for me it was for my house mate, your staff convinced me into taking it out in my name for him as he did not have a debit/credit card.
We was told as soon as we left the shop with the phone we could not bring it back if we decided we didn't want it, he made it very clear there was no 14 day cooling off period,
also stated this in the contract.
The staff gave us the contract paper to take home which they was meant to keep, they phoned us asking us to bring it down which i never did they should do there job right.
We then found out by the same man a month later there was a 14 day cooling off period and he denied saying this to us, we checked the contract as week wanted out that night as online you can get a the same deal with a free gift worth £240.
I think it was a couple of weeks later the phone broke and would not turn on, it got red hot when it was on.
We took the phone back to the shop for repair which took a month to fix, when the phone was ready to my shock they gave us a charger that was in 2 bits with blue tape holding it together
(fire hazard) the phone which was black when i got it now had a silver back, nokia 6500 either come in black or silver not mixed.
The phone did the same thing as the first phone the same night and would not work.
So the phone went back to the shop again, took another month to be fixed.
when we finally get the phone back it had no back and the same broken charger.
The staff tried telling me it was a new phone and they forgot to send the back and they will ring me when its turned up.
I know it is not a new phone as i have phoned nokia head office and they told me it was a second hand replacement phone as they was not able to repair mine.
The staff looked confused when i told them this and did not know what to say.

If a guy approaches you and just says some stupid comment that you don't really know where it came from, does that mean he is interested in and is trying to get to know you better?
I work at a place where I have to answer phones, and there's this really cute guy there. Well, today, he came over to where I was and said "Is there a Babies R Us store around here" Okay, he is from this area. Lived here all his life. there were 3 other people at the desk with me (all women) and he asked me that. I said "no, you would have to go online to order, why" and he said "my mom has to go to a baby shower and she wants me to pick up something for her to take" Okay, first of all, I think this was a lie, how many women would let their husbands or sons go pick out a baby shower gift. I mean, that's what women live for...shopping. So I think he was just trying to make conversation. what do you think? Also, he started talking about his nephew & started telling about other people in his family. That was rather strange. What do you think?

I've made it a habit, for years, to ask a friend if they need or want something from the store, I can pick up on my way to their place. I do not really know anyone, but a few, that asks me if I want anything while they're out, on their way over. Instead people come to my home and ask me what I have. If anything drives me nuts, it is getting taken advantage of by someone, when it is so easy to say, "NO." and not care about their feelings as a result. For example, I have 2 beers in the fridge and my roommates' friend stops over, who is well over legal drinking age, and he asks if i have an extra beer. I like how people use a word like, 'extra' when asking for a cigarette or beer. Like, ya this pack came with 21 cigarettes, or, yes, I bought a 6 pack because I always only drink 5 or 4 of them. This kid, bumming beers off me, makes more money than I do and it seems, his parents are loaded. So, why the heck doesn't he bring a beer over, or a few, or me a six pack for the many he's drank each time he stops by. I don't hang out with them; a fratcion of the reason, the roommate owesme weeks of rent, saying he lost money or this and that, yet he has plenty of money to drive his dad's work truck around and eat out and go to parties. I don't hang out with them, so it is not like the kid wants to bond or something.
I've worked with people and have agreed on a dollar amount they'll pay for my computer services. I do the work and when it comes time to pay the bill, I feel guilty or whatever, and charge them less. They sure as heck don't say anything to make it right; apparently not having a problem, paying me pennies for a job well done, meanwhile they'll go spend $500 at the casino in a heartbeat. I must note that the last person I can remember, when I said, ah, you can give me $20 bucks, for about an hour and a half of work, getting his restaurants computers and credit card terminals back online. He gave me $50 instead. He's from Guatemala and a great. hard working person. It astonishes me, how so many people, given the chance, would take $50 from someone else, if they could and get away with it.
A couple months ago, I was in a gas station I frequent a few times a week, before heading into work. I'll buy a cup or coffee, one for me, one for the owner of the antique shop where I work. One morning, near the start of summer, I had $80 in 4 twenties in my pocket. I put them on the counter, and moved one off the pile toward the cashier and left 3 twenties right in front of me. The cashier said something in regards to the weather and I turned, looked outside and made a comment, agreeing with her. I turned around and she gave me the change from my $20 and I left. I got to work and noticed I was missing $60. I called the shop, the cashier said she saw something then, and asked the lady if I left money. She lied, said no, and left. The cashier got her license plate number. I remember the woman somewhat, specifically, she is one of those idiots, driving a big lumbering SUV, so she parks in the NO PARKING ZONE, I assume, partly because she cannot manipulate the truck so easily; this way she just pulls right up front, not that she might be trying to off or anything either. Anyway, the cashier new something was it, got the lic. plate # and called the police and they never responded, twice. Apparently the blatant theft of my money would be on camera, but they have some display that blocks the view of the counter. (?? seriously !!) I have the woman's license plate number. Should I not post it online to warn others that she might steal from them? I'm not sure, I thought to find her information, get her telephone number, and call her to say I have her on video tape and if she gives me $60 back then I'll let it go. Makes me sad, it does. People are sooooo out for their own good. I don't even have a car and this chick, with her bling bling land rover, takes my $60 off the counter in front of me, which was within a foot of heart, as I turn to think, what a bright, wonderful day it is turning out to be.
It doesn't end, my old roommate, rich kid. I caught him in my room on my web camera, while I was at work. One time my father picked me up at 9:30 in the morning and the x-roommate triggered the camera to record him, at 9:32, watching out my window, to make sure my dad and I were leaving. I was on month to month with no lease. I paid a security deposit. I gave him about 2 weeks notice, and he kept my sec. deposit, emailed me and told me he would get his dad to say I paid him no security deposit. Even after I moved out, the girl who moved in, he got pregnant, they got married and have a child no. I tried to shake his hand a few months ago to congradulate him, but he dissed me, saying I owe him $200 to get my stuff out of storage. A pine bench my father made me as a gift, my box spring, air conditioner, and some other things. How the F can this stuff really happen? Do I need to start kicking people in the pants as soon as they start me

My gf bought this necklace thing for us, online using her visa debit giftcard, but she sent it to my address (with my consent by the way). And today she gave me the link to the order status, and the shipping address is sent to my home address, BUT the billing address is sent to my address also, i though it should be sent to her address because she is paying for it.
So, does this mean i am responsible to pay for the necklace udner my name? Or did they deducted it from the visa debit gift card and there will be no bill sent to me?

My mom won't let me use her credit card for online purchases, because she is afraid of stolen being stolen, or any of those other internet buying problems.But I want to buy a Visa Giftcaard so then I can buy it myself off the internet. But I am wondering if you can order stuff off the internet with a Visa Gift Card, and if sites like eBay will except it, or say that the card is not valid.

My friend is a very gifted clairvoyant, she has given me a dozen or so readings. Since having her daughter she is unable to share her gift, so i suggested her selling her gift online. Many others seem to be doing it at a good profit and some of them have no ability at all.
