  • Open Question: Private schools vs. Public schools?
Is it true that private schools are year ahead of public schools, or not? I'm in 8th grade at an all-girls private school and here is my schedule: Algebra I (Algebra II is for honors and accelerated girls haha), American History, Chemistry, Biology, Latin II, French III, Spanish II, English (we are reading Brave New World, A Separate Peace, As You Like It, and Romeo and Juliet) I have to play 3 sports (Field Hockey, Squash, Lacrosse) and do 100+ hours of community service per year. Whereas my friend who is going to public school this year is reading all of the same books we have already read and analyzed in 5th grade (Fever 1792, The Giver, Walk two Moons, and a Midsummer's Nights Dream) honors and accelerated did geometry last year. Regular is doing a combined course, Algebra I for the first half then geometry for the second half because we did Algebra I last year too btw I am in high school French II. I have been taking French for 9 years, spanish for 5 years and Latin for three

  • Open Question: I need 160 more words. PLEASE HELP!!!!! ?
I really need help finishing this essay. Any ideas? Please, im am freaking desperate at this point. Essay about turning A Separate Peace- John knowles into a sililoquy recited by Gene. Have you ever been jealous of a friend? Have you ever let your jealousy get the better of you? Gene Forrester has. This is exactly what happens in A Separate Peace written by John Knowles. While revisiting his old college, Gene is forced to remember what happened between him and his roommate Finny. Bringing back memories, inner enemies and co-dependencies rekindle and bring out the worst in protagonist and narrator Gene Forrester. I am going to re-tell A Separate Peace through Gene’s eyes as if he was looking back on everything that happened. I am going to take what I know in the world of drama to create a soliloquy for Gene about all that happened at Devon Academy. John Knowles Flips between present time (1958) and when Gene and Finny attended Devon College (1942-3). While Gene and Finny were enrolled in Devon College, the boys spent much time playing at the near-by river. All-around likeable guy Finny was very much a daredevil and had a great sports future ahead of him. But when Gene finds his enemy is truly his best friend he lets emotions get the better of him, causing him to make Finny fall from the tree branch, which ended with him breaking his leg and loosing any sports-related future he had. The boys didn’t always envy each other though, infact they were the best of friends anyone could remember. Although this is a tragedy, I am going to make my soliloquy a bit of a comedy-parody to act as the tension release that the story needs. While expressing and disentangling what Gene feels happened during those 4 years at Devon I would want other antagonist such as: Finny, Leper, Brinker, Cliff, and Chet coming in and acting as Gene’s conscious. The whole soliloquy would be a sort of melee of man vs. himself. In this case, Gene vs. himself. The whole time Gene would have to have a deadpan expression to show the confusion he has towards all of the events that took place. After Finny died of bone marrow in his blood stream the exposition of the soliloquy would have to change from comic relief to melodramatic and serious. If I was to create a soliloquy for A Separate Peace I would want the audience to get a sense of understanding and innocence from Gene. The inner peace he is trying to find and discover through out the book is what I interpreted as ‘A Separate Peace’. While leaving the world of aodolesence and coming into Man-hood Gene makes a couple mistakes. I would show the audience that all mess-ups that might have happened in this book weren’t because gene is ‘mean’ more or less he is just trying to figure everything out. I would make the actor truly understand the confusion Gene felt in the whole book. The tone of the lighting and the cyclorama would be dimmed and dull so that you could focus on Gene. It would have a bit of a poetry-reading feel to it. The costume for Gene would be old-fashioned and practical, as for the antagonist coming in as consciousness would have a angel / devil style to their outfits. The script itself would portray Gene as both a good guy and a back-stabbing-jealous-dependent person. What I would want the audience to grasp from this soliloquy is that Gene is not a jealous horrible person, more or less imperfect like the rest of us. I would want Gene to explain how if he could go back in time, he wouldn’t have made Finny fall, he would’ve envied in a different way. And also that Gene choosing not to go to war was not out of selflessness but as the one way to re-pay Finny for what he had done to him. As the quote in the book says “Listen, pal, if I can't play sports, you're going to play them for me,” Both men forgave each other and were set on finding the best out of this not-so great situation. The whole theme I felt for the book was Pain, in more ways then one. I just want that to get across to the audience that, none of these people are bad; they just made mistakes while going into man-hood. I also think that the motif of “jealousy kills” Needs to get a huge note in the soliloquy. The only thing I would really question putting in is Gene talking about how he and Finny created The Super Suicide Society of the summer session. Although a big part of the story, I think it’s a bit unnecessary for a solo piece from Gene. I don’t think anyone can describe or re-do this story as well as John Knowles, but I think my soliloquy could almost be a epilogue of how sorry everyone is about Finny’s death due to a sad accident. I think that all the audience will enjoy the story told through the eyes of Gene, but each viewer will have his own understanding and outcome of what they see. The end. I have 5..infact 6. Y!A just dosent let you indent.
  • Resolved Question: KNITTERS Need help please......?
First of all a friend of mine bought some material and rather than getting the bulky yarn she got sport yarn. 1. If I had her get another of the same amount would that suffice for the the bulky material? In other words she purchased 3 skeins of 85 yards sports instead of the bulky. 2. She also got 7 skeins of sport yarn at 165 yards per skein and it call for 150 yards per skein so there should be sufficient but when looking further into the instructions it stated that "NOTES: Body of jacket is worked in St st with 3 strands of MC held together." It doesn't sound as if the yarn would be enough if it were 3 skeins held together. The ribbing is for 5" but that still leaves the back, front and the two sleeves. 3. I have never seen this abbreviation before and when I looked it up I was very confused. It is for a ribbed pattern with a miltiple of 2 sts+1: a rep of 2 rows. The confusing one is for "K1b" The second row is K1b, K1b, p1. I tried it several times and looked at several sites and they all give the same explaination but what happens to the one in the explaination that I put in capital letters The K1b: knit into next st, one row below, at the same time, SLIP OFF STITCH ABOVE. a.if you slip it off you have a row of yarn that has not been worked. It was worked on the first row and now if it is just dropped it becomes bulky across the the work. Is this what it calls for. b. if you slip a it to the needle you will wind up with so many stitches you will not be able to hold up the needles. What do you do with those stitches? The pattern is in a book by Better Homes and Gardens "hipknits" I think this covers what my questions are but if you need more information please post it or e-mail me. Thank you in advance for you courtsey and help.
  • Voting Question: Ladies, Do You Agree With This Guys Answer?
I asked a question a few days ago about being in love with a close female friend. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoBtAeGD8MBhrcZgVjXoPc_sy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080817090735AAGgQZS This one guy wrote an interesting answer that got we wondering if some if not all he was saying was right. But I want to know what some women think, since your the ones that matter. Here's his answe to my question... be a man and face the facts:- 1) for a woman to love u, u must pass certain qualifications from a woman's point of view such as, confidence on ur self, control over ur emotions, challenge to her feminine abilities, respect to ur self & ur life, firmness, steadfastness etc., 2) this woman did not seem to even bother herself about u all over these years, 3) women hate a man who appear or is desperate and hopeless. SHE MUST FEEL THAT SHE IS NOT EVERYTHING IN UR LIFE and that u have many other interesting things going on in ur life. 4) believe me, there are so many good and welling females out there, so do not stick to the idea that SHE IS THE ONLY ONE., 5) Work hard to wipe her completely out from ur mind by doing the following, a) do not keep any thing that reminds u of her this include; photos, letters, gifts, ornaments, videos etc. get rid of them very soon; b) practice any kind of sports everyday for at least 30 minutes even it is walking; c) practice deep breathing (4sets of 4deep breaths a day) if u email me I can give full instructions, this practice is very powerful, d) reorganize ur life in a healthy style, no smoking, no drinking, good norishment, early sleep & rise up, e) practice a hobby even if reading certain types of books, f) go out and meet and talk to people (men, women, old, young) it does not have to be long conversations, g) join any active voluntary or aid groups, h) take serious time and reflect back on ur relationship, check the positives & negatives form ur side and hers. see how her negatives have actually affected ur life (do this on a piece of paper, after practicing the breathing exercise);i) NEVER, NEVER TRY to go after her or call her or communicate in any way EXCEPT if SHE intiates it, then YOU MUST CONTROL ALL UR FEELINGS and DO NOT POUR UR HEART OUT TO HER, remember you want her as ur love NOT ur doctor or mother! j) remember that ur life and ur well-being is far more important than hers and should be seriously looking after ur own interests. These in brief are some essential points that u must consider if u want to regain ur life and self-respect & at the same time forgetting her. You never know, when she realizes that you are not bothering yourself about her and that you are taking good care of ur life, she may come running after you, BUT YOU will then accept her according to ur terms.

  • Resolved Question: DO I have Attention deficit disorder (ADD)?
I'm 17 going 18 this month. I'm shy and inattentive.I'm social only when it comes to my circle of friends. Whenever the teacher talks, i only listen for a maximum of 2-3 mins before my mind starts to wander. (Most of the time, I'm thinking about the story in my head *but I'm too lazy right now to write it on paper*. I think about whats gonna happen to my characters next). I can only focus my textbooks for a maximum of 5-7 at a time before i suddenly have the urge to walk around the house/my room, then comeback after a few minutes of walking and thinking, then i go back to my books and 5-7 mins max later I'm walking about our house again. Its a cycle. And it takes hours before I actually finish studying a simple subject. If im not in my house (like a library) and I'm studying...I usually study the book for a few minute then just simply stare at it coz my mind would automatically start to wander again. I just CAN'T FOCUS. I try and I try...and I try...I just cant. My mom says its all in the state of mind and no matter what she just wont take me to see if I really DO have ADD. No matter how much i try to tell her to get me tested if I ADD. I really wanna know for sure once and for all. I'm really active in sports and I'm hyperactive at home too (coz I can't be that way at school). I hate the fact that my mind automatically wanders or I'm suddenly doing something else (like right now I should be studying and instead I'm here at Yahoo! *I'm holding my textbook right now*).

The end. Plz and thanks Alex :) But I signed my name...so that would be ok right? I did write this WHOLE thing on my own! But I signed my name...so that would be ok right? I did write this WHOLE thing on my own!
  • Open Question: What do you think of this poem I had to write for my English class? Be honest please?
It's not supposed to be deep or anything. It's more of a Shel Silverstein type thing. Here it is, tell me what you think: Tons of things I read about My family gets mad and starts to shout “Go outside and play a sport!” “You’re turning into such a dork!” “Who wants to stare at paper all day?” “Leave me alone!” I always say So many books, it’s not even funny I read every day, even if it’s sunny From vampires that come out at night To girls in cliques who always fight Magic wands and casting spells Gossip girls, they always tell Different worlds and evil villains No one likes then, they’re always killin’ Adventures, new twists in plots Need a novel? I’ve got lots! Non-fiction and poetry It’s fun to read, can’t you see? It makes you smart and well informed So grab a book and shut the door Go into another place Simply let your mind wander into space there's also this one. I just wrote this cause I felt like it: I wish my life were a novel Rarely boring with interesting characters I could turn the pages back and reread, able to analyze everything so easily I wish that everything were as simple as a plot line When the good guys always win I wish I had the option of skipping though the bad chapters And knowing that everything would be fine when I walked away I wish I were the author And could backspace, writing something better than before I wish I had that much control But life is not often as good as a novel So I’ll just keep reading
  • Resolved Question: Why would anyone want to confiscate Bibles?
Its a book...a Holy Book to some...what harm can it do??? Don't you think its just fear of the unknown that causes people to ban & confiscate?? http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news;_ylt=AiXI1gyLWGd3lIpOELNVOg67KZt4?slug=ap-china-biblesconfiscated&prov=ap&type=lgns Why oh! why are my Qs not showing...i hope this one does! Edit: Hello you lot...you don't have to believe in the Bible to respect it, you know?...No, you don't. To me its God's Holy Word...yup, its been misinterpreted & always will, by people for their own twisted purposes. My Dad says that even the devil himself can quote the Bible for his evil designs. That said...there are plenty of books full of trash that freely available...and that do a lot of damage...people don't confiscate them. Fear of the unknown, methinks. Edit: Proper Gander, i agree with you wholeheartedly. Edit: Thanks for the link CelticSaint! With all due respect to your beliefs, i'd like to point out that what has been 'stolen' are merely customs & traditions...not the spirituality. Hey! What has Santa or the Christmas tree got to do with the birth of Jesus??? Nothing...but its a tradition, a nice custom that we indulge ourselves in...it doesn't take away from the true meaning of CHRISTmas... Edit: lol...thanks Kat for your link...but seriously, do you think it matters the exact date on which Jesus was born??? His birth is just celebrated on December 25...the date hardly matters...Everyday is Christmas for me!

  • Resolved Question: Should I change for her? Kinda long but people plz help! I am begging!?
theres this girl i like and i asked her out once, well instead of going alone, she wanted to see what i was like around my friends. We went to a park and me and the guys had a big football game while the girls chatted for awhile. My friends Devon asked me while we were all together how my books was coming and how my classes were. Well i asnwer truthfully and told him "books are coming along great, and i am defenitly going into nursing man!" Also since i was with my friends, we were being regular guys, slaming eachother with sarcasm and swearing every now and then.Basically she saw who i was. a guy who loves sports, hanging with friends, loves animals, Loves to write but also i got a sailor mouth from my dad who WAS in the Navy. And find sarcasm funny and love laughing when someone slams me or i slam them. Well on the way back home i asked her in she had had fun, and she asnwered yes so i took the chance to ask her out again. This time she said, is you want to date me again, stop playing sports and stop being sarcastic. This really hurt, she said she once had a bf who was a jocky and he left her and was a total bastard. I like her and would love to date again..but i dont think i can change. I have been playing sports ever since i was 3 years old so it is part of me. And both of my parents are very sarcastic and i am usually at the end of the barrel so i grew up thinking sarcasm was funny and so do my friends. I really want to be with her...but i think asking me to change who i am...i dont think i can do it. Basically...i just wanna know as my question stated...should i change for her? or stay who i am?
  • Resolved Question: Was this a good conversation?
A guy friend and I talked for a bit on IM. I called him hottie. We played 20 questions, allthough I didn't ask all 20 and I don't think he was really into it. I told him he could ask me qs, but he said he is more of a responder. Whatever that means. We some how got into sports and that's when he opened up more. I also told him my interest in vampire books like Twilight and how I would rather be a vampire than a werewolf any day b/c they are mysterious and sensual. He told me he thinks female vampires are hot. I ended with needing to get back to my reading for work and told him to facebk or IM me (since he never initiates it!) he said okay, 'bye with smilie face effects. Was he just really bored with me or was this a good convo?

I just got it earlier today and I gotta tell you, it is a very good read and if you are a stats guy(or gal) like me, you'd be a fool not to have it.

  • Open Question: I am bored with my summer vacation. What can I do ?
I don't really like sports so don't suggest any outdoor activities. The heat is killing me and I prefer to stay home. Any good books ? Any good websites ? Any thing I can do to improve myself ? Any thing I can do to stay busy but with the time well spent ?
  • Resolved Question: I am thinking of buying a sports bike. What are the options for a beginner with a £2k-£3k budget?
I have my test booked (UK). Hopefully I will pass! I have tried out a couple of friend's bikes and really like the sports bikes, I feel comfortable on them and enjoy both their performance and the look. I know that these types of bikes can be expensive and have earth-shattering performance figures. I refer only to out-and-out sports bikes in this question, not muscle bikes or sports-tourers. HOWEVER, this will be my first bike over 125cc. My budget is £2-3k. I want a sports bike that will tolerate a beginner but will still offer me satisfaction as I become more experienced- of course, Insurance on the bigger bikes will also be an issue. What would you recommend? My friend's bikes are all around the 600cc mark and I have heard this is really as big as I want to go as a novice. The Ninja sticks out as being a solid sports bike in my price range, are there any alternatives? Thanks!

  • Resolved Question: Are trips to visit family really necessary?
When I was a teenager this old man who look to be in his 60s came to visit me. I was leaving this place my friends and I all used to hang out in, I was about to get into my car when I was approached by this guy who gave me an almanac of sports statistics for the next 50 years into the future. I've been using that book ever since to amass a huge fortune in sports wagering. I came to find out later that old man was a future version of myself going back in time to change the eventuality of my/our life. Anyway, will I still need to make the trip back in time when I reach the same age as that old man (around the year 2035) or, since I already own the book, am I good to go?

  • Resolved Question: Alot on my mind?? Help plzz?
Sorry that this is so long but I have to get you to understand whatta dilemna I'm in I'm a 16 year old girl, Juinior in high school I get straight A's honor roll. This year is gonna be really hectic and I don't know when I'll have any free time to myself. I plan on getting a job on weekends b/c my mom won't let me work on school days except maybe friday after school. I'm gonna join tennis this fall b/c I need to be in a sport to qualify for national honor society. Also I'm gonnna have to join renaissance and some other club. I'm also volunteering at the hospital b/c my mom is forcing me [ i guess that's not volunteering lol]. I want to do tutoring but get paid [ if I go to my guidnace counselor they'll tell me more]. however my aunt was telling me to volunteer at the library[ but i wouldn't be paid of course]. My mom is forcing me to take the PSAt this fall but I don't feel prepared even though I bought 2 review books for th SAT. SO I have to take the PSAT to qualify for some scholarship thing even though I don't want to. Then I have to take the SAT. ALso I'm gonna be taking 4 AP classes. AP Bio, AP English Lit, AP Calc & AP American History. Should I drop one of my Ap's? I have to do Bio b/c I wanna be a nurse. I want to be an accounant also though so should I drop AP calc and take an accounting class as an elective? Technically I don't need to take math any more since I finished Math B in 9th grade but it would look good on my applications to collee and stuff. I feel like my schedule is so jammed pack. I already took AP chem last year and I got a 4. I really like shopping but my mom hasn't been into it as much as me for the last couple of years so i wanna buy my own stuff. I don't get an allowance so that's why I wanna get a job. But if I can only work weekends and I have to volunteer on weekends i won't be able to make enough money to shop for clothes!! My mom still buys me clothess but like if I wanted to buy one Ed hardy shirt I'd have to pay for it myself b/c my mom would refuse. I don't mind paying for myself it's just that it'll take me forever now to earn the money to buy clothes.?? Can anyone help me with any of these issues??=[[
  • Voting Question: How does an insurance company decide if a car is totaled after a wreck?
We have a 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport that was in an accident last week. Our insurance agent gave a estimate of $2,450. to repair it. Another body shop estimated it at $5,530.00. What should we do? It is valued at $10,000.00 in Kelly Blue Book. Is our insurance trying to scam us, since they insist we take it to body shop that they recommended?
  • Open Question: Did the Collins submarine computerization project morph into a Frankenstein which prevented people from?
completing the project ? (I was fascinated by the publication of the book "Collins Class Submarine Story: Steel, Spies and Spin" and searched and found this on the net: <> http://www.defence.gov.au /minister/1999/collins.html) Perhaps the programming support environment available in the DT&E lab wasn't up to the job. But if so, what might have caused that ? "What was sported with on the field of Causality Was not there when the rules of the game were laid down; It was thrown in today by way of pretext, Tomorrow all will be as was set up before." • Voting Question: Whats the best way for a man to remove unwanted hair from his back?
I'm taking my girlfriend away to Paris for a long weekend for her birthday, I'v booked us into a really posh hotel that has a health spa/beauty salon type thing on the premises so she should love that, anyway, we have decided that we are going to sleep together for the first time, the thing is she has never actually seen me shirtless, well not properly anyway, and I think my hairy back might turn her off. I lift weights and play alot of sport so I don't really have any hang-ups about my body except this one thing, its not freakishly hairy but I know women hate that shit. What is the best way of de-hairing my back before next friday? I was thinking I could get waxed in that beauty place at the hotel but id feel so feminised and it would mean coming out of the clausete about my hairyness lol Anyone know the best way to go about this?

  • Voting Question: United Airlines: Carry-on??
United Airlines says: "For travel worldwide on United, you may carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse, briefcase, or laptop computer." I have my normal carry-on -- lacrosse sports bag, and it meets the dimension requirement. Do you think my book-bag would count as the personal item? It's basically the size of a woman's purse -- a larger one. Think I'll be ok?

  • Resolved Question: Mormons. When you receive your "calling", do you accept?
My friend just explained this to me. The Bishop or others pray and are told by the Heavenly Father who would be good doing what, like teaching primary or taking on the task of organizing sports or whatever. They then come to that person and tell them what their calling is. I didn't realize you can accept or not, but if you don't accept, don't you feel bad? Shouldn't you be gracious and accept it? Personally, I don't want others telling me what to do, I'd decline every one of them. But I'm not Mormon and don't believe in the teachings of JS and his Book of Mormon. I think its better this way and won't convert. But that's beside the point here. Do you accept your calling or not?
  • Resolved Question: UK: I have my Direct Access booked. Bike recommendations please?
Hi! I will use the bike primarily to get to work every day (3 miles each way through built-up areas), regardless of the weather, but also weekend leisure trips of maybe 50-100 miles. I don't want anything fancy, just something reliable that won't cost the earth. I can budget £600, or £800 at a real push. Age is not important but I'm presuming I'd need something fairly modern as I would like good reliability. As for CC and power, I'm not after a sports bike or something that can do 150mph without even breaking a sweat. I want to ride on a bike that can manage UK speed limits with comfort but is also happy bumbling along through built-up areas. I suppose around 500cc, what do you think? I am a real novice. Any suggestions welcome!
  • Resolved Question: What do you think about Master P changing his name to P. Miller?
I think he just pulled a Puffy/ P. Diddy/ Sean Combs/ Diddy.... lol he released this statement about his name change: "I am changing my name because Master P is who I used to be, I call it my childhood and P. Miller marks my manhood. I wouldn't change my past because it has groomed me to be the man I am today. Growing up has nothing to do with age. People grow up mentally and spiritually through life experiences, but when you come from hip-hop it is almost impossible to get past the stereo-type it associates you with. I will always love hip-hop; it plays a major role in who I am today. I have branched out into so many different arenas that range from being the first African-American to have a clothing line at Wal-Mart, to writing books, and speaking on Capitol Hill, but all of that gets overshadowed because I come from the hip hop industry. It's important for young hip-hop artists to know that they are not limited to one career, they can educate themselves, and prepare for life after hip-hop the same way pro-athletes prepare themselves for life after sports. Also, know that you can branch out into other avenues if you are multi-talented or have other dreams. My dream was to enter corporate America, my son's dream is to go to college and play basketball, and Will Smith's was to be a famous actor. Many of us can begin new careers, take advantage of different opportunities and still remain true to hip-hop. There are a lot of people out there, who are afraid to grow up and change, but I'm not and P. Miller is the evolution of me, Percy Miller the entrepreneur, the businessman. My goal is to educate the hip-hop culture now and if they don't get it, then hopefully their kids will get it and understand. My fellow hip-hop artists should know that we can't rap forever. I'm glad I'm in a position in my life where I don't have to put out music because I've prepared myself for the future. To build the generational wealth we have to educate our families. That's why my son is going to college. Fifteen years later I'm still successful because I've realized the importance of education, growing up, and responsibility."
  • Resolved Question: How auto insurance determine how much your car worth after claim?
I had a 1998 Subaru Forester S sport utility 132,000 miles and it was totaled. I read some places and people say that insurance don't follow the Kelley blue book and some say they do. Others say they go by autotrader.com or nada.com. Why is that? are they trying to trick us by which value is lower? My insurance offered me only $3200 but it know it worth more than that. Vehix.com say it value at 3900 and kelly blue book say about 4300 so which is right?
  • Voting Question: what do you think of homework?
homework... a lot of kids hate it but i have a few questions to it especially towards teachers --> why homework? why give us homework? we already go to school for app. 8 hours a day and when we come home we'd like some downtime to spend with family, friends, boyfriends/girlfriends and well just you know to have a social life. the average kid my age needs 8 hours of sleep so add it up: 8 hours of sleep 8 hours of school + 5 hours of homework ((i took a survey from kids from different schools and this the averaged amount of hours it takes for kids to do their homework)) ______________________ so now thats 21 hours down the drain now we come to the eating breakfast, dinner, shower, and doing dishes that takes about an hour all together so now we're over to 22 hours and that leaves us with 2 hours 2 hours to spend time with your family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, do chores, get ready for the next day of school, relax, spend some time on the computer and also alot of kids join sports and or have a pet so the sports takes about an hour and walking a pet say 5 to 10 mins? so what does that leave kids with? 50 minutes? 50 minutes to spend time with people you care about? 50 minutes to relax after a long day? 50 minutes to complete chores? 50 minutes to read a book? 50 minutes to play video games? 50 minutes to all the things i listed above is simply quite not enough maybe for some kids but not for me my parents are always gone on the weekends for business trips so i can only see them during the week and so 5 x 50= is about 250 minutes so 6905 mins. on school days is how much i spend going to school, sleeping, and doing homework and chores, and sports, and taking care of my pet 250 minutes is how much i spend a week with my parents DO NOT REALATE THIS QUESTION WITH THE FACT MY PARENTS ARE GONE ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND i am talking about a daily thing why so much in just 5 days? and why so much homework? its not like we're gonna forget everything over night! sorry this is so long but im trying to make a point especially towards teachers why give us so much homework?
  • Resolved Question: I don't know what to do with myself?
Ive been so bored lately, and i know i should be taking part in a hobby or sport or SOMETHING, but nothing seems to spark my interest anymore besides sitting on the couch and pigging out. i used to be so active and bubbly, and workout all the time and read books but now im either sitting on my couch killing time or hanging out with my boyfriend. what are some things that motivate you to get up and do something?
