when a Ute. ahead of me had quite a large object fall off. It was too soon to even decide what to do, so I drove over it. It made a terrific sound, and I pulled over on the emergency lane to inspect my car, and found the front bumper and the section underneath had come off.
I phoned the emergency police and lodged a complaint, and gave them the Ute's licence number. The police phoned me 24 hours after to say the driver of the Ute. didn't have anything fall of his truck, and that they had examined that section of the freeway and didn't find anything!
Now I'm left with having to repair my car, and if I ask my insurance to do it, I will have to pay the basic excess of $ 500/- which is too dear for me.
Isn't the local council or some organisation responsible for road hazards like this?
I really need some guidance on this problem.

I live in the state of Washington. I have a $680 ticket for 84 in 70 and didn't have proof of insurance. I had 2 cars but was insured for one and the one I was driving I wasn't. I mean without them, according to him, families won't be able to afford Health Care. & will those tax credits make Health Care affordable to all families? I'm 5 months along, and just missed my last checkup because my doctor had emergency surgery and couldn't be there. The office offered to get me into another doctor, but I ran out of time after almost 3 hours of waiting and had to return home. My OB has only seen me twice for about 10 minutes each, and we haven't even discussed any risk factors or needed testing..I'm over 35, have pre-hypertension, overweight, and gestational diabetes with my previous pregnancy. After I was unable to be seen, the office said they couldn't reschedule me because ALL the OBs in the medical group are overbooked and there were just no openings, and just to wait for my next scheduled visit a month later!
Am I wrong to have expected to be rescheduled in a timely manner, like within one week? I made a big deal about this, complained with my insurance company, and finally decided to try switching doctors to see if I can get some better care. Again, I got the runaround, them saying no doctors had any openings before mid-September or Oct. But eventually, she found an opening (miraculously) in two days. I had to fight on the phone for almost an hour to get this.
Was I unreasonable or did I have unreasonable expectaions?? Do you think I was wrong to make a big deal out of the lack of care I've been receiving, and lack of consideration when making appointments?

Open Question: Why do some women have c-sections over natural birth?
Why do some women have c-sections by choice over natural vaginal birth? Not only are mom putting their and their baby's health at risk, but the recovery period looks terrible and exhausting, when some moms can have already lost the weight by the time moms who had c-sections are allowed to work out. Plus why would any mom want a scar on their stomach for life instead of a usual 2-20 hour labor. I also believe that insurance doesn't cover the cost of a c-section. I'm not trying to be mean to anybody who has had a c-section, but come on are moms to posh to push now.
P.S. I know some women have c-sections due to medical reasons this is for women that have via elective c-sections.

First year I got a new car, I know nothing about it, then I need insurance, I went there for it.
Charged me $2500 for one year insurance.
2nd year liberty mutual sent me the renewal, only cost me $1200 for year.
And I didn't get the renewal letter this year, I asked Liberty mutual, Libert mutual wanted me to contact the broker.

I have always been drawn to the arts: drawing, painting, photography, sculpting, acting, etc. I am currently a single mother of a two year old little boy that I love so much. I got rear-ended a year ago. Immediately after the accident, I had a headache and general soreness. Within a month I had some shoulder pain, thought it would go away, through the past year I have went to the Dr. for numbness, and shoulder pain. I have documented with the Dr.s about the auto accident. I did not want to try to get any money out of insurance because at the time I did not believe I needed it, but now, the pain has just not gone away, and I am concerned I have a serious shoulder injury as a result of the seatbelt going across that shoulder when rear-ended. I did not sign anything stating I was ok...etc. I am 24-years-old, no prior injuries.

In May I got an abscess in my throat and I went to warmc a local hospital. When I got there they did 2 cat-scans and gave me ibuprofen and an IV solution. When the results came back they told me there was a tiny little abscess nothing to worry about go home it will clear up on its own. They diagnosed it as a sore throat and gave me a prescription for amoxicillin and told me if it doesn't get better in 3-5 days follow up with a physician. I came home and rested I was home no more than Two hours when I woke hardly able to breathe or swallow. I woke my mom and told her to take me to the ER. We went to Valley View the other local hospital and they did 2 more cat-scans and did a spinal tap to rule out meningitis. My blood pressure was very low I think it was like 76/39 and the er doctor told my mom that if we would have listened to Warmc and just forgot about it I would have been dead by morning. The doctor said that Warmc's cat-scans showed my abscess was half a centimeter wide he said that within that short period of time it grew to 2 centimeters in diameter. He told my mom that they were life flying me to Umc in Las Vegas were they were putting me in ICU, he also told her that I had about a 10% chance of making it out alive. They flew me to Vegas and had me in ICU for 4 days and they put me in the regular er for a day more after ICU. Both Umc and Valley View told us that Warmc should have kept me for observation and if they would have they could have possibly controlled this. Now my Insurance is taped out and I still owe over $55,000.00 in medical bills due to this and I lost 3 weeks of work. Please let me know if this sounds like a case and if you know any good lawyers thank you!
