  • Resolved Question: Any way to block of Viagra Advertisement and porn advertisement spam??
I've been getting a ridiculous amout of porn-type spam on my Yahoo account recently. Most of the e-mails have a woman's first name as the sender and then a cheesy phrase like "had a good time last night" or "how u doin'?" as the subject line. The few that I have opened typically contain advertisements for Viagra or Cialis or some other male-enhancement drug. Or... they contain porn advertisements. I'm a woman, and I have never ordered medication online or visited a porn site. I have no idea why I'm getting this crap!! I have a spam filter on, and all these messages are going into the spam folder, but i have to clean out about 20 of them a day. Is there any way to block these? The sender's actual adress is hidden, so I can't just block all emails from that address. Does anyone know how to recover a hidden email address? I'm a programmer with decent IT skills, so if you give me good instructions, I can probably fix the problem myself. Thanks!
