I am currently working on a musical album/project that I cannot give too many details about, but for the sake of this question, I will say that it references many television and video programs. I do not plan on saying specific names of the shows within my songs, but rather names (not full names) of characters or things that make the references obvious without giving too much copyrighted information. I feel so unrecognizable sometimes, you know? Not to sound racist..but, my best friend is Asian, and gorgeous, in a really..NON diverse town..so people remember her when they meet her! I want people to remember me, so I want something unique about me, like how I dress. I don't want anything really over-crazy, because I hate appearing as if I put loads of time into my appearance. I think its unattractive. I don't want to go 'goth' or anything like that. Here are some things about me. I like the color black..it makes me feel comfortable. I like my outfits simple, only like, one or no accessories. I prefer not to wear brand names. I love rock music. Sports are awesome, but I only play one..I'm not really an athlete. I'm sort of shy..so nothing really 'loud.' I'm interested in maybe dressing sort of 'vintage.' I think its a cool style. Any tips on how I can dress sort of vintage, in a simple way..without seeming like a poser? Or like I 'changed over night'? Where should I shop?

before at one point you used to love a certain genre and all of a sudden you changed and move to a different genre, I would say, more adult like?
For instance, I used to like Heavy metal, I mean, really into it back in my high school years, and now, I am not into that anymore, I think is childish and inmature of me to listen to that kind of music now that I am an older person. Not trying offend anyone. However, every once in awhile, once in a blue moon I do listen to some heavy metal but I get tired of it very easily!

Oh, I am so grateful for this website! I have been banging my head against a wall for a few weeks now because I don't know where to turn for help re: this matter. Here is the deal: I graduated from New York University in 2003 with a BA in Music Education, but this is no longer my passion. My heart and my interest are in psychology. I want to go to school to become a psychologist, but I don't think I will be accepted by any grad schools because while at NYU, I didn't major in Psychology and I didn't take any psych classes. I have no problem going back to school (undergrad) and taking grad school required classes but I don't even know where to begin or what classes to take to be accepted into a psych grad program. If anyone can help me, I would be so unbelievably grateful. Please, whatever insight you feel like you may be able to offer me would be amazing and highly appreciated!

I just turned 20 yesterday. Im going to be a full-time student in a canadian university in halifax. I am also on a student visa.

Ok there is one band inparticular that I think is the highlight of Canadian talent and thats Rush. My favourite band of all time....SO talented, Geddy Lee master of vocals, bass and Neil Peart master of songwriting and percussion.
Now most educated people in music would consider Rush one of the greatest musical acts of all time and Neil Peart one of if not the greatest drummer in history, but for some reason, I feel that because they are Canadian they get no recognition at all, and that people look down on them because of that. Why do I feel this way?

All this music and video is on my zune and if I try to delete it off my comp it automatically deletes off my zune. Is there any way to get around this?
