    I am 6'0" and 180 lbs. I was recently prescribed Clonazepam (Klonopin) and was wondering how much would be considered an overdose. i have read where people are taking 6 mgs per day and my doctor only prescribed me 1mg (.5 in the morning and .5 and night) and it's not working well.

    A friend and I have both recently had tooth work done and have been prescribed opiate pain killers. Mine is darvocet, I'm not sure what exactly hers was. But she is also taking clonazepam for an unrelated issue. I got worried because I remember hearing somewhere that opiates and benzos were a commonly abused mixture that often leads to overdose. I'm sure my friend's doctors know what they are doing, but this led me to be curious. How easy is it to OD in this way? Is this easy to do by accidentally taking two doses for example by forgetting you took your proper dose already and taking another? Or do you have to be a "druggie" who is intentionally taking unusually large amounts to get high? Thanks for your quick response. But the thing that got me thinking is what if she forgot to tell the dentist about the pre-existing restless leg situation for which she is given the muscle relaxer? Should I go over there and wake her up to make sure she told the dentist and is not going to OD in her sleep? Or is it not that easy to OD and like I said would require intentionally exaggerated amounts?

    I HATE flying. I have been overseas before and wanted to jump out of the plane. I hate being confined. I vowed to never fly over 2 hrs again. However, in a recent short trip I took way too many Clonazepam (on top of alcohol) and it still took me an hr to go to sleep. That was dangerous, I could have overdosed. Now if I go overseas, I'll need to be out for hours. I want something like you get in surgery, that you just can't stay concious. Any ideas? I guess I came off wrong like I was scared of flying. I'm not really scared, I just hate being trapped and confined for so long. I hate cars the same way, but at least in a car when you get fed up, you can get out and walk around awhile. Plus, plane seats are TINY.
