I love my mother, i cook the dinner when there is food in the house, i do the cleaning ect. I respect my mother, I never fight with her, but than people will like why you so mean to your mom. I always say yes mom, sorry mom in a polite way. and people said i had attitude problems. and they one women said i must do the shopping, First of all i dont have a car and im to young to drive, second i live in south africa and its dangerous for young girls to walk around alone, They get raped, kidnapped ect. I asked why she was doing this not how stupid i am :( Why do people judge so quickly even if they are wrong

  • Open Question: New job...need any help/advice anyone can give me.?
I'm going to babysit 4 kids in their home after school, weekends, and on vacations. I live in colorado, I'm 18. THe family is very wealthy. THere are 3 boys ages 11, 9, and 5. The girl is also 5. Those two are twins. The only one that looks as if he would cause problems is the 5 year old boy. THe mom doesn't work but she's never at home but the dad does work. What should I ask to get paid? Would you take this job? What do you think about babysitting? My responsibilities would be: Watching them, taking them out, helping them with their homework, grocery shopping, cooking, going on vacations with them to various countries and states where they own houses or just want to visit. I'll babysit at their home but I can use their computers to do homework, I can do my homework while I'm watching them, I'm allowed to drive their Hummer when I'm with the kids or running errands for them. I obviosuly get to eat there and I get travel opportunties. But is this job too time-consuming for an 18 year old? What is your opinion? I do have a life, I want to go out and party every now and then.

  • Open Question: Why are men allowed to behave like this to women?
I went to the Post Office this morning to send a birthday give to a friend through the post. The PO was in a shop, and there was no queue, just a guy there who looked around 23. I stood waiting and while the guy was having his cash counted by the man behind the counter, he looked me up and down several times with a smug grin on his face, he couldn't have made it anymore obvious. When he was done, he didn't walk out, he stood back about 3-4 feet behind me and waited for me to finish. I looked back at him and he raised he eyebrows at me with that smug grin, and continued to stare at my bum, which I could see do through the reflection of the glassed off counter. Feeling really uncomfortable I left in the other direction without looking at him so he didn't have a chance to start talking to me. As I walk off, he then whistled loudly at me, not caring who heard. I'm really annoyed, as I've witnessed this sort of thing loads of times. I was really uncomfortable with he behaviour and my body language showed him that, but he continued to act that way. What gives men the right to treat women so disrespectfully and to embarrass them in pubic? Do any men here act like this? For everyone who's asking why I said nothing was because he was about twice my height, well built and looked really rough

  • Open Question: Primark Question - Please help!?
I know this might seem like a pointless question to some of you, but here goes. I bought a top from primark last week, i usually shop there and always buy the clothing in a size 8. I shop there that often that when i saw a top i liked i didnt feel the need to try it on before buying it, as i always fit into that one size. However today when i was planning on wearing it, it didnt fit on the arm area, and i havent got the recipt to take it back. The tag with the barcode etc is still on so i dont know if i could just exchange for a bigger size? I know differant stores have differant policies, as i myself work in retail. So should i be able to exchange? Thanks in advance guys =) xo

  • Open Question: Where can I buy Digimon figurines in Singapore?
It has been my hobby from young to collect figurines. Nowadays, I hardly see any old seasons ( Season 1-3 ) Digimon figurines for sale in Singapore's stores anywhere. Many retail outlets have seemed to stop imports of the figurines and do not keep any more stock. However, I believe that there may be some stores which still sell Digimon figurines. Do any of you know whether any shops still sell the figurines? To be more specific, I would want to buy the Imperialdramon Digivolving Figurine. If you happen to have one for sale, (doesn't matter if it's second-hand), and live in Singapore, please email me at shing_yi94@hotmail.com. Thank you very much!

  • Open Question: I forget to mention this in my last post shoud I just bk off if I want to get her bk what plan of action ?
Hey me and my ex girlfriend were together for a year and a half and we did everything together and weren't just bf and gf but we were also best friends. We broke up because of an arguemnt we had at our prom I got drunk and we had a huge fight. Anyway she always said if we ever broke up we must stay friends. We broke up (we've broken up before over stupid things) and she said maybe if 'we 'stay friends we could get bk together' well she said she was over me but got angry and envious when she saw a pic of me on facebook talking to another girl and said we'd never get bk together now and she's with somebody else. But after a few days I rang her up and asked her if she wanted to go to lunch and she agreed and later that day she txted me asking me to go shopping and we went shopping and it was fun and she sent me a txt after saying we should thay more often and arranged to go to the pics but the next day she was saying she's too busy and I that I'm being great but she said she can't forget what happened at the prom and a few days after txting and pleading she told me to 'leave her alone' but if she's over me surely she'd want to hang with me we did bounce of each other do you think she's not over me and that the reason she dosen't want to be friends incase she admits she still has feelings for me or is this just wishful thinking. I mean we were together for a year and a half and extremely close

We haven't really talked and we don't know each other well. I really wanna get to know him. I leave work/town in 2 weeks so tomorrow is my last shift with him..i.e. I don't have time to become his friend first. We hardly get a chance to talk because our breaks are at different times and I work on the till (he works the shop floor) so we can't talk as it's rude to the customers. Plus, I can't ask him out in front of the customers. What should I do?
  • Open Question: Wow i'm getting sick of this...?
I'm getting sick and tired of jonas and Miley questions but I have to ask this one. How many of you think this is ridiculous: I was at the mall one day and the Target commercial came on the one where the Jonas Brothers sing Hello, Goodbye. And I was in their shopping when two 13 year old girls walked by me saying Oh my god don't you love the Jonas Brothers new single Hello, Goodbye. And I couldn't stand that so i turned around breaking my mind your own business rule and straight up told them that's not a Jonas Brothers song its a remake of the original Beatles song. And they said Oh well who are the Beatles. I just said wow and turned around. Don't you think that's ridiculous even if you haven't heard The Beatles music you should have heard of them. God I wanted to kill them.

  • Open Question: Job offer at Abercrombie, chances they'll call?
Last Sunday my friend and I went to Abercrombie & Fitch. While shopping around a salesperson came up and asked us our ages. My friend was 19, and myself 16. She then asked my friend if she was interested in a job, and she declined (she was visiting from France so of course she couldn't work there..) She then turned and asked me when I would turn 17 and I told her early January. She then asked me to fill out my name and number on a card and told me Abercrombie was hiring. She said they'll call me if interested. What do you think my chances are that they'll call. If so, how long do you think it takes? Two days and it'll be a week. I think the lady only offered me a job because my friend declined haha. I'm also wondering, has anyone heard of a 16 year old working in Abercrombie? (not A&F) I'd really like a job, and don't want to wait until January for work..

  • Open Question: An obnoxious friend, what should I do?
I had a friend, Molly Corney, our parents' farms are adjacent, and we are almost of the same age, but I am an only child, and she has a bunch of brothers and sisters. We used to be very close, and always brought dairy products to the market together. Then she went north to visit some relatives, and came back engaged to a middle-aged shop owner, as old as her own father! It changed her so. She became loud, laughing, and boisterous. I used to think that she was in love with a man in the navy, practically a hero, Charley Kinraid, and the shop-owner seemed to me such a come-down. And she was so full of it. Mother said that she was like a rooster on a dunghill, crowing: "I've caught a husband! I've caught a husband!" and that she'd marry anybody with a good income. She had been so self-absorbed in her wedding preparations, and so selfish, it was a relief when she went away. Then she came back and asked me to a party at her parents'. I went there, and helped with the preparations. Molly was even worse: said that we all were behindhand, that ours was an out-of-the-way place, found out who gave me a new headband and teased me about it, and told her husband, and they whispered and stared at me, and laughted all the evening. I do not want to have her as a friend anymore, but don't want to quarrel with her because her family is fine and is our neighbours. What should I do?

  • Open Question: Best camcorder case for Everio GZ-MG330?
I just got one of these cameras for my birthday and am looking for a small case to carry it in. Ideally I would like a case that has a main compartment that the camera fits snugly into (with room at the end for when the camera is outfitted with one of the high-powered batteries) and a zippered side compartment for cables/memory cards etc. We don't live close to any electronics shops so I can't just go try out cases in the store, and though websites give dimensions you never really know how well something is going to fit until you have it in your hands, so I'm reluctant to just guess and order something. Anyone have an Everio MG330 with a nicely fitting case? Thanks!

i started writing this last weekend after i got back from shopping for bridesmaid's dresses with my sister, who is getting married in about 2 years. i plan on reading it at her wedding reception. I'm not exactly the greatest writer but this is my first poem, so any suggestions help. its kind of rough around the edges and i am trying to touch it up a little bit but i finished it a few minutes ago and i thought i would see what people think Today is finally the day where two hearts join and become one through thick and thin your life together has only just begun you would come home at night and tell me about him you trusted me enough even when things seemed dim i was there for you then through the good and bad and im there for you now even though im a little sad you're growing up your spreading your wings and letting yourself soar on to bigger and better things your love for each other shows whether you are together or apart and your feelings truly come from the heart no matter where life takes us i will be by your side a memory in your heart the light on your darkened path may your love live forever and let the record show yes i am sad but the tears i cry now are tears of joy not sorrow you have found a person who loves you for you and i leave you this message this wisdom i impart never let him go his love too comes from the Hart

  • Open Question: Who or what is this Hannah Montana Wal-Marts new Goddess?
Who in the hell is this Hannah Montana character that Disney now commands us all to worship as a divine goddess of some kind. Try shopping at Wal-Mart and see how far you get before her holy image totally permeates your surroundings. For heaven's sake, her image is plastered on everything from bubblegum to pantyhose. These marketing tactics are no doubt making her even more millions while she sleeps. You may or you may not want to acknowledge this? Nevertheless, the sad fact that is now so abundantly clear is spelled out in big bold color letters. I have no doubt whatsoever that an ever-increasing number of Americans have foolishly become slavishly obedient to the whims of that multibillion-dollar Disney marketing. That it's now to a point where they can be sold on anything. Yes, people anything be it of God or of the devil. In addition, as this most ignorant generation begins to drift further and further from any concept of true reality, you can rest assured that those big shot multimillion dollar marketing CEOs will continue in their quest for total world supremacy by marketing bimo’s like Montana
