Not really, if you look at Europe we have much more in the way of different climates and topography (the alpine mountains for instance, and the white cliffs of Dover). And Britain is a climate adventure on it's own because we have so many winds converging overhead such a small Island.
Look at new zealand for climate, they say that you can travel all four seasons in a day in new zealand.
