Plot:
In this (f)anime you turn into a spirit if you die. Those spirits have a power inside them(it's not a magical power to attack with or something XD they use it to exist). There also are black spirits, they we're made by
the world itself to eat the powers of the spirits because there were to much spirits and the world couldn't hold that.
The 12 years old Hideki is a spirit, but he's not an ordinary spirit. He has a special power that keeps him (kind of) human. This power has to be protected against the black spirit
s. If the black spirits ever get that power they can and will let the world collapse by using that power.
Upon Hideki's first day of Junior High School he gets attacked by a black spirit...

Line 1: Ever since the human race existed there were spirits..
Those spirits are the people we lost in our lives
They lived in peace until there were to
o much spirits..
The world balance was getting weaker because of that.. since then the black spirits came into the world
The black spirits absorbed the powers of the spirits and a few years later the world's balance was restored
But..
the black spirits were bad spirits who wants to let the world col
lapse with the powers they absorbed from the normal spirits
They tried it.. but it never happened
Until the year 2012
The world collapsed and a huge power, even stronger than the world itself was born...
What I'm telling right now is going to happen ten years later..
